"Very close to the imperial palace."
Nice business hotel, more for business people than tourists though. Location, very close to the imperial palace but on the other side of the park from tokyo station so you have a 3km walk to tokyo station, and a long journey to most of the touristy places, so not the best location for tourists. Room was clean and comfortable enough, but on the first night our air conditioner was really noisy so it was difficult to sleep. All in all a very decent hotel. The big plus for me was the following: In tokyo foreign tourists by law have to show their passport at hotel checkin. However, if you are non-japanese but are resident in japan(eg you live in japan), by law you are not required to show passport or photo id at hotel checkin(just like japanese nationals). Many hotels see a foreign face and insist you show your passport, even if you have a japanese address. The diamond hotel didnt do this, I told them i was a resident of japan, wrote my address and they were happy with that. So they have very well trained reception staff. Well done the diamond hotel.

"Simple & clean , short distance frm subway station"
Room was a little small , but we enjoyed the futon experience. Overall both room & bathroom is clean we had a good view of the Tokyo tower . KUDOS to the team ! We were rushing to check out to move to another location and left all our cash back in the room. Called back to the reception to explain our situation , the staff promptly assure us that they will check the room immediately and to call back in 10 minutes for an update. We called back in 5 minutes and reception Saino kindly told us not to worry and that they have found our monies and that we should head back to the hotel reception to see her to collect our monies ! *phew!*

"Perfect stay in Tokyo! Close to Suidobashi Station"
The hotels service was nice, however it seemed that most of the staff did not speak English, with translate applications it wasn't so much of an issue. The room was very spacious with big comfortable beds and the room had good facilities, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists and would stay again! It is situated very well for train access however if you plan to rent a car there is no onsite parking.

"Great location, friendly and helpful staff"
There are about 2 stations very near to this hotel, and there are a few cafes and a family mart nearby. Akihabara is walking distance which is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and nice. Occasionally the wifi can be a bit slow.

"Beautiful hotel in a central location"
The Imperial Hotel is a beautiful hotel located in Ginza across the road from Imperial Park. The location is close to public transport and shops and a large number of restaurants. The hotel staff are extremely efficient, courteous, friendly and gracious. We stayed for 5 nights and always loved coming back to the hotel at the end of a long day. If you are looking to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, this is a great hotel for you. It's still close to everything but minus the crowds. Our room was a decent size - good for couple + child. I would love to stay at this hotel again!

"Lovely hotel in a great location"
My boyfriend and I spent a week exploring Tokyo and this hotel was one of the highlights! Friendly staff, very clean (especially the sheets and bathroom) and nicely decorated. They even gave us free umbrellas when it snowed one day. The room was a little smaller than what I was used to in the U.S, but that's true about everything in Japan. The neighborhood is very safe with a lot of little restaurants within walking distance. The subway was only a few minutes away. I would stay here again!

"Reasonable enough"
Haven't stayed any other hotels in Tokyo, so cannot compare too much on price. We didn't pay a fortune, and considering some of the other places we stayed in Japan, we were happy enough. Small room (triple), but comfortable, clean, quiet. In most cases, a hotel room is simply a place to put your bags, and sleep. Perfectly adequate for this - no problems in this department.
