The first floor lobby/common area is really small, and barely any amenities except dining area… The room smells from day 1 and it hasn’t changed since. Also, they charge breakfast that serves egg and bread for 770yen, food was terrible and worse meal I had in Japan. Staffs is also not great at communicating, and they look at you like they have no idea what you’re talking about. The floor was suppose to be female only, and they noted that there might be male staff during cleaning hours from 11-4. That’s not true because I was getting ready with my roommate at around 9am, suddenly there was a male “staff” literally walking pass us… we were in shocked and it was not something we expected. Check in was fast, amenities were available and had bathtub if you book the family room. The room was bigger than I initially thought, enough space for repacking my luggages. 2 mattresses were located on the wooden raised floor and 1 bunk bed. Breakfast was optional, western style and cost ¥770 but we didn’t try.
