"We loved HHQ, just wished we had booked for more than one night. Wayne was really helpful both before and during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend. "
"Wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a lovely quaint little town. The service is fantastic, super friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious, and it has a great pub & patio as well. "
"Really nice place. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few days in the area and despite a wedding being held at the hotel the weekend we were there, there was no problem with noise or access to facilities. Lovely restaurant, grounds, spa and staff. "
"The Hotel is up for Sale when we stayed, but was clean and staff friendly. Room was Ok but entrance was via car park outside. Converted store maybe. Car park small and parking on street was limited"
"The property is amazing, stunning location but some of the decor is a little tired in places, generally excellent throughout though.
The service was great in general, with the exception of a few times things were muddled or not quite as smooth and effortless as you'd expect with an establishment like this."

10/10 Excellent
"Great service & excellent location. We were visiting family and wanted to be accessible to the city centre & King Richard visitor centre which is just a short 5 mins walk from the hotel. "
"This was a fantastic stay from the clean rooms, great AC, and great breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the restaurant on site and bar. Everything was super clean and was the highlight of our stay. The interior design was really interesting with the features in the room and design. Would stay here again if I'm next in town."
"We loved our stay at combe. Our bedrooms were so very nice and comfortable. It is a beautiful building with wonderful architecture and ambience. The breakfast was really good value and a wonderful selection of food, especially as we are vegetarian. The staff were all very helpful. We are looking forward to be able to visit again in the near future."
"Decent sized room and bed and bathroom was clean. Room carpet let it down with some horrible stains on it and floor boards were creaky throughout the hotel. We have a yearly family get together nearby so location was good and we will likely return next year if prices are competitive. Air conditioning was good in the room and made a big difference."

If you're considering a visit with a focus on tranquillity and fewer crowds, October can be a fantastic option.
