"We really enjoyed staying at the Villa Barbarich! They had a shuttle to and from Venice which was super convenient, but the train station was also a short walk away and was another great way to get to and from Venice. I am so happy we stayed here compared to right in Venice, gave it more of a luxury holiday feel. The breakfast every morning was great and the staff were lovely. We had a garden room facing the pool which we really enjoyed. The property is so beautiful and has a lot of history!...

Email communication was prompt and on the ground service was the best we have received in Europe. The hotel location on the water was safe and convenient short walk to main tourist sites. Restaurant recommendation for dinner was non-touristy, local food and very affordable. This was a great hotel experience -we will definitely return!!"

The terrace on Grand Canal is a wonderful place for hanging out and the hotel is an easy walk from St. Marks, museums and designer shops. Breakfast is included and abundant, and drinks and/or snacks outside on the terrace is a joy in good weather. The 7th-floor bar and restaurant provide a breathtaking panorama of the city. "

Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern. "
