Pleasant hotel in a lovely location, ticked all the boxes for us. Just a short walk from the train station. From Venice main train station just next to the Grand Canal to stepping inside our hotel room took just 40 minutes.
The hotel picked us up from the local station and dropped us off again when it was time to leave so we didn't have to carry our luggage.
Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and enough choice for all of us.
Room was very clean, shower nice and constantly hot.
Beautiful gardens and clean looking swimming pool which we didn't use due to the weather. Lovely gardens to sit outside and drink / dine.
Hotel gave us a list of train services into Venice so it was very easy to navigate and plan our stay.
Would stay here again if we were to visit Venice again.

Two nights in Mestre for a family of 6 in 2 connected rooms. 1 small room with double bed, 1 larger room with 2 singles and a double for the kids. Reasonably priced for a clean and new looking hotel. Great bathrooms, lots of hot water. Very nice breakfast, included in price. No real cooking facilities, but we wanted to taste the local cuisine anyway. Easy to get to Venice (5 min walk to bus stop, 15-20 min bus ride). Hotel staff explained travel options to get to Venice, including maps, very useful. Car park available for us at the front of the hotel at no extra cost. Not sure what there is to see in Mestre, Venice was the reason for our stay - spent all day and night in Venice. Would highly recommend it, would definitely stay there again.
Plenty of free parking spaces (off season), easy to get to from the airport so able to ease gently into an Italian driving style.
Reception gave plenty of printed information/maps for the bus into venice (about 25 min and just around the corner) - don't forget to validate the ticket on the bus.
Despite previous reviews thought the breakfast was very good.
We stayed at this hotel because of free airport pickup and better value for money compared to hotels in Venice. Check-in was smooth and staff were very helpful. Rooms were very large (compared to most European hotels) and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent and free internet service was good. Bus stop was about 1 1/2 blocks away from hotel and it took about 35 minutes to get to Venice by bus. Smaller shopping centre was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and carried most things you might want. Restaurant in the hotel was okay, but not spectacular (a bit pricy). Would definitely recommend and will stay there again if in Venice.
