A hotel punching well above its weight (it deserves another star), superb service from the staff who always made us feel very welcome. A decent continental breakfast with pretty much everything you would wish for. The only gripe was the hot water, or lack of (although they were trying to fix the issue) which sometimes made the morning shower a little more invigorating than it needed to be!
If I ever return to Venice, this will be the hotel I'll be booking.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of November to celebrate her 40th birthday. I initially was going to book a 5 start hotel but my wife talked me out of it as she said we wouldn't be spending much time in our hotel so it was a waste of money. I'm glad I listened to her as this 3 start hotel was more than adequate. The room was a good size as was the queen size bed. It also opened on to our own private balcony, something you wouldn't expect from a 3 star hotel. The bathroom had no bath but the shower was nice and the room was spacious.
What I really liked about this hotel was the buffet breakfast which I gorged myself on each money having cereal, bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs followed by some of the nicest croissants outside of France.
I cant praise this hotel enough. To start with the location. Its right in the middle of venice. About 200 metres from St. Marks Square. So is it noisy. Not really. Its a small turnoff from the a high street filled with brand shops . The turn off is a dead end leading to this hotel so it sees no people coming through. Yes, your roms can overlook another street which in season can get noisy , but dont think there is any avoiding this in venice during season. The room was small but it was the economy room. Was very cozy, comfortable , with attached bath. The staff at the reception were extremely helpfull and i say this emphatically. the charming courtyard in front of the hotel is perfect to just kick back and relax early in the day or after a hectic day around the city. Breakfast is ample without being extravagant. In all it just elevated our venice trip. Thank you guys. Great job.

Just off the fashionable Via XXII Marzo , lined with elegant shops and boutiques, Hotel Do Pozzi is a quaint and …More
Friendly staff, close to waterbus(vaportto), train and bus travel. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety and would have cost a lot more had we had to eat elsewhere. The breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The lady who helped serve breakfast was always helpful with a big smile!! Thank you.
The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh sheets and towels placed. The room was spotless.
We were in Room 402 which was quiet. The air conditioning was perfect.
There is a Coop supermarket store opposite the waterbus area. You could buy 1.5 litres of bottled water for 37 cents while the local shops charged you 2.50 euros.
As a single traveler, this was a perfect hotel. I felt safe and the staff spoke to me in English as my Italian is extremely limited. They were so informative. Be sure and reserve a room with a lagoon view in the main hotel. I skipped breakfast so I can't comment on that.
The hotel is typical old Venecian style, not your modern Travel Lodge set up, but this just added to its charm. It's just behind St Marcos square, down a narrow alley which is bustling from am to pm. It's in a perfect location to visit all things 'Touristy', along with bars, shops, and various eateries.
5 minutes from the Grande Canal front with its array of Gondalas and restaurants, market stalls and attractions.
The staff were friendly and jovial and couldn't help us enough. Breakfast is basic continental, cheese, cold meats, croissants, cereal etc. Latte and Cappuchino were refillable and lovely tasting. For a proper taste of traditional Venice, this hotel and it's staff ticked all the boxes.
The hotel is in a brilliant location overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. Short walk to get to from the Allilaguna vaporetto stop from the airport, which is a consideration when wheeling luggage around Venice. The hotel was old but comfortable. Good selection for breakfast and very close to any number of restaurants for dining out.
