“Great stay”
Great location and plenty of on site amenities
“Great hotel in Venice!”
Great hotel, very clean , good size room, very good and friendly service. Even got a free upgrade without asking. The breakfast buffet was very good, as was the shuttle service. The only negative aspect was that the Wifi wasn't free, which is very important to us while traveling.
“Best time in Venice can be had by staying at Hilton Molino!”
Good Hotel!
“Venice's Best Hotel”
We arrived to the hotel from Piazalle Roma by watertaxi 60 EUR(2 adult,1 child and 3 luggages) and it takes 15 minutes, very comfortable. At reception our reservation is ok and we go our room at 5 minutes. Hotel has a wonderfull view and very convenient. All staff are smiling and very helpfull. We had no problem during our stay, what we asked we had a solution immediately. Hotel has a taxi to sanmarco and every half an hour you can come back. It costs10 EUR daily. We left the hotel by watertaxi. It takes 20 minutes from hotel to airport and costs 100 EUR.(2 adult,1 child and 3 luggages) Totally the vacation is wonderfull. Thank you expedia, thank you Hilton
“excellent!!!”
WOW what a place. Great value. nice position and great service!!!
“Bit too far from the centre of things!”
Well on first impressions the hotel is lovely with fabulous features of the pasta factory it used to be. However, it really was a little too far away from the main tourist areas of St Marks Square / Rialto Bridge. There was a shuttle service but it wasn't as regular as you would expect and it was not made clear that there is one stop before St Marks Square which led to a rather confusing first night trying to find a restaurant!! It would have been a good idea if the hotel gave the shuttle times to you on arrival along with a city map as these were only discovered after asking the next day. The room itself was very nice although there were a few little niggles that should not have slipped by housekeeping such as the light on the shaving mirror did not work and despite a note mentioning this, it never got fixed. There is a piece of coving hanging down in the bedroom which made it a bit tatty and the bin in the bathroom had lost its pedal meaning you could only use it manually. One other thing that should be mentioned is that the restaurants are VERY expensive! On our last night after a biog lunch and lots of walking, we were going to have snacks in the Rialto bar but with a burger and chips costing about £23 we soon changed our mind! There are a couple of restaurants to the right of the hotel, the second of which we came to was delicious and reasonable and I highly recommend.
“Great Experience”
It was a fantastic experience, the friendly staff, the service, everything around it was wonderful, the location was perfect. Having the hotel ferry extremely useful to get around.
“Beautiful views of Venice”
The hotel has a great vantage point across the canal. Easy access to shopping and restaurant with hotel shuttle (free). We got a private taxi at the train station for 60 euro for 4 and lots of luggage.
“Id never go back....”
The hotel is in the worst worst worst possible location. To go ANYWHERE else you MUST take a water taxi that charges or a free hotel water taxi that comes once or twice an hour. Forget the money part its completely inconvienient. I assure you that you will NOT be happy here even if you use points and its free. The "free wifi" is for Hilton Honors members only, fine, we are members but then its only in the lobby and downstairs bar dining, not in your room and not before 4 or 5 in the AM. Ridiculous if you are attemping to do do business in US etc.. We had a nice room, small for executive suite but clean comfortable bed still no wifi and bad location. The bathroom toilet flush is a large round knob you push in, it was so difficult for me AND for my husband too!!! There are beautiful canal front hotels across the canal, stay there, stay anywhere but here. Sorry Hilton, what do they say in real estate? Location location location.....
“A let down in the Hilton Chain”
We usually stay at Hilton hotels when travelling around Europe, this hotel let the chain down from the moment we arrived we had to take our own cases to our room, When checking out reception staff gave no eye contact and made us feel uncomfortable. The Hilton Hotels are renowned for being 5 Star but I'm afraid the service at this hotel scores 4 Star. When leaving to go to the Airport do not use the Hotel Shuttle Service, although this is cheaper it goes to other hotels as well, and the journey takes over an hour to complete and our shuttle was over 30 mins late to start with which resulted in us almost missing our flight. Book a water Taxi although 100 euros it is on time and goes direct and takes approximatly 30 minutes (wish we had).
