The welcome was exceptionally warm, we were given a lovely snack with wine in the garden whilst our cases were taken up to the room. All areas of the Hotel are spotlessly clean and stylish. The breakfast room is attractive and intimate with a vast choice of foods for all tastes and the option of cooked eggs and/or bacon offered. The Garden is neat and tidy with plenty of seating. Breakfast could be taken in the garden or the breakfast room.
All members of staff we met are polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Most of the other guests we saw were couples or pairs of couples.
We loved this hotel full of charm and character. The staff all of them were amazing so warm and welcoming. We arrived and left via water taxi definitely the way to do it. The hotel is small but very cosy and again the staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. It was a joy to stay here and we're looking to come back as soon as we can. The room was cosy nice big bathroom the shower was low but the bath has a built in jacuzzi feature.we really loved every moment can't wait to go back.

Perhaps the most photogenic hotel on the Grand Canal and the only one where you can have breakfast in a rose garden while watching the worlds go by, Ca' Nigra is located near to transport but is in a quiet square away from crowds.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the standard continental breakfast was perfectly acceptable; there are plenty of cooked options if you prefer (although we didn't find it necessary). They do not do evening meals, but there are so many restaurants to try that this really isn't a problem.
The staff were helpful and eager to please.
We would happily stay there again.

The simple front door and facade concealed a warm and well appointed hotel. which was manned by friendly and helpful staff, particularly Modi (receptioon) and Alketa (maid). The room was well appointed and the air con very good/quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable.

I had spend some time online trying to find a good boutique hotel in Venice, this was not the cheapest option, but the service was on a par with any 5 star hotel I have stayed in, with the concierge being superb. The food was excellent, the room small, but comfortable with good room service and free wifi. The hotel design would not be to everyone's taste, but myself and my wife enjoyed the interesting art and the quirkiness!

Lovely place for a short break. Gabriella (The owner is a lovely person)
The only drawback is, that if you have to come back to rest during the day you will have to spend it in your bedroom as the lounge/breakfast room is locked up.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel with this one! It's position, plush interior, quality of food, service, everything! We couldn't imagine staying anywhere better in Venice..most certainly not in this price range and we are hard to please!
"Lovely hotel - Marco Polo's home- only 5 bedrooms"
Really close to the Rialto Bridge so easy to get to all the tourist sites. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as shops, but because it is tucked around the back in a small courtyard it was very quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were arriving quite late and we asked for a kettle and cups to be left in our room so we could have a hot drink, and we were pleased to find a full tray of teas and coffee and sugar (but no milk)
Our room was small but very nice and quite plush. Water bus stop at Rialto Bridge to take us back to the airport was the first stop for our bus so we got a seat whereas others who got on at later stops had to stand for the 45 minute journey.
