"I know it’s new, but everything about this overnight stay was fantastic. Staff… really attentive and helpful. They set my room temperature and asked which room I’d like to stay in. Breakfast… plenty on offer, freshly cooked food, great service. Room… very spacious, clean, had space to sit on an evening, HD television. "Overall it was really good. It is worth noting this was my first trip away in a long time and was my first time staying in Newcastle and I suffer from anxiety/paranoia and overthinking, having said that I'm new to staying in hotels overall. On the whole staff were very professional, friendly and helpful with decent knowledge of the local area and places to go. I ask for wake-up calls on all three mornings of my stay, but didn't get the one on the last morning of my stay, which was possibly...

"We booked this stay for our daughters birthday, all the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The reception were great with our daughter, they noticed it was her birthday and gave her a nice jar of jelly beans. The room was clean and as expected, facility's were great especially the pool area. We had a buffet breakfast in the morning, the selection was plentiful and all the food was good quality and presented well. We will visit again."

"A nice hotel, but I was disappointed with my last day. I stayed for 5 nights and asked for a late checkout on the final day, only to be told checkout latest was 11am and every hour after would be a charge of £30. This seems a little extortionate and as a frequent traveller and user of this hotel many time before, a little user unfriendly. I understand they have to clean the rooms and make ready for other people, but surely there is a more customer friendly way of dealing with this. "

"Perfect location. From our room we were lucky enough to have an amazing view of the Tyne Bridge. Presenter drinks on the outdoor terrace were lovely and a swim in the pool was a great start and end to a busy day sightseeing. Would highly recommend! "

"The leisure centre was great. The swimming pool was clean, although the water could have been just slightly cooler. Happy hour in the bar Sunday to Thursday was a pleasantry, with £3 beers. The hotel is in a great location and close to lots of good value restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful."
