"The Rest Inn, located on Steep Hill is right in the heart of Lincoln and close to the Cathedral, Castle and the hustle and bustle of a traditional market town with so much on offer. Our suite was comfortable with many thoughtful touches and an area outside with tables and chairs for occupants of each room to enjoy eating or just being outside. Great shower and comfy bed. Communication was excellent. Great value."

"The Hotel was perfectly OK for our 5 night stay, while being the 'poor relation' of the main Holiday Inn on the marina a bit closer to the heart of town. The in house dining is pretty ordinary, the room's tea and coffee supplies very basic, and the only problem at night was noisy students (it's located amidst large University lodgings) down below in the street in the wee small hours which woke us on two nights. "

"Stayed in Tritton suite which has a good view of the cathedral from the living area and only been in service for a few months. Finished to a high standard and really clean throughout. Bathroom is great as it has a large shower and bath with dressing gowns included. Really enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Only minor suggestions to improve the stay would be including slippers to go with the dressing gowns and a box of tissues (hayfever sufferer)! "
