College Day

Our stay was pleasant only thing was 2 queen beds were outdated and not very comfortable to sleep on. But other than that we enjoyed our stay and house was close to UTSA campus for our visit.

Very minimal if you plan on grilling bring your own cookware and lighter as it is a charcoal grill, master bathroom jacuzzi does not work master bedroom no window drapes, kitchen sink garbage disposal would not turn on. Absolutely no kitchen spices/oil plenty of silverware and plates. But house itself was nice if you have a full size truck parking in the garage is a chore as its for smaller cars and suv.

The house is very nice and clean and it feels like home. However, there are no small bath towels, only big ones. The washer smells like mildew and the microwave doesn’t work and the plumbing is questionable. The garbage disposal is inop a toilet overflowed. There were no check in/out instructions. And no WiFi instructions. When I asked, it took a while for her to send the password, but she never sent which WiFi network.

I struggled with whether or not to leave a poor review, but I really wish I had read a review like this prior to booking. We were all pretty disappointed with the property. We never received any kind information, welcome email, or anything from the host other than the code to the garage. There was also no check-in, check-out, "things to know" or any other type of communication from the host. We arrived to overgrown weeds (no lawn) in the front and back. The listing photos are of rooms that are more decorated with more furniture. The house has been reduced to bare bones in our opinion (like curtain rods with no curtains, no footstool at end of bed, missing lamps, etc. Very few towels were provided, and poor quality at that. There were only 2 hand towels for 3 bathrooms. There were zero wash clothes provided - kitchen and bathroom inclusive. The kitchen has been stripped to only the barest of necessities. (We didn't even have a pot holder.) The dishwasher was moldy, the fridge made terrible noises, the built in microwave is duct taped over, etc. Every dish we took out to use had to be washed - and we were only provided with one, very old, very worn out sponge. The walls were beat up, dirty, and there multiple holes in the walls and doors that were very poorly semi-patched. Overall, it looks like someone lived in the house for a long time with no maintenance, and then moved out and furnished it with the lowest quality BARE necessities to rent it out. Very disappointing overall.

Mini Back to school Vacation

Check in was good, nice house just needs some modern updates, such as carpet, curtains, comfortable beds! Backyard fence needs repair specially if children going to be in back yard! HOA information should be checked out for guest, such as code for swimming pool! Air vent needs cleaning, newer refrigerator, some of our groceries spoiled because the refrigerator wouldn’t get cold! We tried changing temperature but nothing changed! Other then that I would stay again!
