Room where really clean, but it was our wedding day and they didn’t offer any upgrades or extras that we could have or buy so but that’s the only things disappointing

Hitting the beach in the heights of summer or taking a crisp, invigorating walk along a pier in the chill of winter is an integral part of any holiday. Bournemouth Beach is one of England's most spectacular golden stretches, offering seven miles of unspoilt beaches. There are plenty of hotels near Bournemouth Beach, giving you easy access to all the fun and tranquillity on offer. Whether you prefer an old-fashioned family hotel with super sea views or something sleeker and contemporary, there's a fabulous selection to choose from.
Many of the beaches along Bournemouth's coast have won awards, reflecting their commitment to cleanliness and safety. Both Alum Chine Beach and Southbourne Beach have achieved the coveted Blue Flag award, which is widely-considered to be the Rolls Royce of beach awards. You'll also find a number of award-winning hotels nearby, such as the Hermitage Hotel, which has achieved a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, four stars and a Rosette Award from the AA. Hotels of this standard are well worth investigating, if you want an absolute assurance of quality and service.
While many of us think of beaches as places to unwind and top-up our tans, some of the Bournemouth beaches have a few surprises up their sleeves. The Bournemouth Wheels Festival takes place in six designated beachside areas between Bournemouth and Boscombe, offering the chance to see everything from classic cars and Formula One racers to Monster Trucks and BMX bikes. The entire coastline comes alive during the Bournemouth Air Festival, with stunning displays from the Red Arrows. There are some superb hotels close to the beach, such as the Bournemouth Highcliffe Marriott Hotel and the Marlins hotel, putting you within easy reach of all the thrills and excitement. However, it's worth noting that hotels tend to book out very quickly during festival-time, so if you're interested in going, it's worth booking in advance.
The beaches at Bournemouth are perfect for families, couples and those who simply want to soak up some sun, sand and sea. With excellent accommodation nearby, ranging from unassuming B&Bs to immaculate hotels, there's sure to be something to suit every taste and every budget.
