This was our second time staying at this hotel. We had a wonderful experience again. The food was fantastic and the staff were so cheery and helpful. There were always lounge chairs available around the pool at any given time, unlike some other resorts where you had to get up early to find a spot. Highly recommended this hotel! We stayed in a platinum suite and enjoyed the extra space and the butler service.

Went with family with two children. The property has many pools so pools were quiet and not bombarded with people trying to save their chairs. The beach is small but my kids loved going and seeing fish and sea life in the water. The property is secluded so it is safe but night activities are pretty limited. It was very relaxing for us and we enjoyed it. We had Platinum club and was able to utilize some of the perks. The dinner restaurants do get filled quick so you need to reserve them asap. If you take busier dinner times, it takes longer for them to get your food. The service of the staff at the resort was great tho. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We absolutely love this property. This was our 2nd time here within the last 6 months and 4th time over-all. The resort is safe, offers options of different style of pools and entertainment, and has a very friendly staff.

We were very pleased with our stay at Ventus at Marina El Cid. It was quieter than Marina El Cid side of the property but we could access everything. The staff was kind and accommodating. By booking “platinum” through Expedia we had added things such as a butler. The weather was not great for beach time (high winds) and it isn’t a great beach area in general. That’s probably my only negative comment. If you are traveling for the beach in particular, I’d look in a different area closer to Cancun where the beach is more useable. We were content with the pools and other offerings at Ventus so our stay was still great.

Check-in was such a breeze. The staff is welcoming. There is a good mix of activities.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. We traveled with two toddlers and often the cleaning staff would interrupt their nap time. They did make an effort to come back but that didn’t always happen. The only downside to the resort was that we could not get reservations to restaurants when we first arrived, as they were all booked. First couple nights we went to the buffet which was actually pretty good. Not sure why, but there is no swim up bars ! We had plenty of seating at the pool and beach. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return here.

Very nice experience second time at the resort . Not too much changed since the previous visit . We found the resort very clean but would recommend that some changes to the dinner menu or activities.

2 hours to check in becausevexpedia and hotel had a mixup. Expedia sent that there were 2 infants and we had properly noted 2 children. Hotel wanted $900 more, and did not work it out with expedia. Expedia had to refund me the money and us to pay hotel directly. You would think all the customers the hotel gets from expedia that they would be more willing to help. We had to go back twice the next day to stil figure it out. Never staying here again too far from anything also. If you need to see a doctor it is $150 dolars.

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. The food was really good. I would recommend to make reservations when you get there. Our room was nice really nice! Hospitality was great! They are trying very hard with the beach, we spent most of the time relaxing at the pool. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful properties. I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn’t for all the the extra fees. We paid $170US for resort fees. They provided us with two free wifi passwords but an extra wifi password would have cost $50US per day per device. Beautiful place! Great food! Awesome staff! Very clean

We visited this resort for Spring Break 2024. We stayed in the 1-bedroom Platinum level room which was spacious and awesome. I highly suggest getting the platinum level as you have access to additional areas and butlers which make it very convenient for families. The buffet for breakfast and lunch were great and the buffet for dinner was above average. It was difficult to get reservations for dinner and we thought the restaurants were decent. Room service was timely and above average. All of the staff were happy to help with anything we needed. The beach area is small but clean and they kept the seaweed out for the most part. Overall, we will definitely consider returning to this resort in the future.

Had no water for a day and were told to go across the street to shower
Water filled the closet from a broken AC unit and got on clothes and tile floor
Phones did not work in room
Was unable to get reservations at any of the hotels before 930pm therefore we were left to eat at the same buffet each night.
Was told the butler would collect our bags and fine us transportation to the airport. Neither happened. We had to haul our bags across the property and also spend and hour searching for transportation.
When I went to speak to someone I was told by any that the supervisor was not available. After three more angry customers came into the Platinum Lounge the supervisor, Paulina, magically appeared. She also did absolutely nothing for us.
After reaching our multiple times they did not respond. Unfortunately because of this we will not be returning.

The ocean is horrible. We saw a cockroach in our bathroom. Our butler was great - India! That’s the only positive thing I have to say about this resort. Ordered room service and it was never delivered.

Nice spot. They've got resorts figured out. Super clean, friendly staff, decent food. Just make sure to make reservations for the restaurants as soon as you arrive as a lot of the places were booked except for early or later, or fully booked.
