This is a beautifullll hotel. On the outside as well as inside. The rooms are a bit small, though that’s expected in Europe. Otherwise I was very please with my stay. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly. It’s on a great street and many things are in walking distance.

Great location to near Museums and Stores.. The elevator to upper floors .. very slow..

Building in old London square, near Kensington Palace. Walking distance of several museum. Has a lift, but several steps up from the sidewalk. Inside was gorgeous. We had a lower floor (re: basement) room, which was just steps from the breakfast room. Unusual to have a view in lower level, but looked ...

Very clean, comfortable room. Staff was without exception helpful and friendly, terrific breakfast. We are regulars from the US, and stay at the St. James. Would highly recommend.

We were given a lovely room with a view right over the Thames - even though we paid for just a standard room. The receptionist was very nice and gave us a "good room"! The room was a little tired and in need of renovation.

I loved the room. All updated and the bathroom was really nice. Bed and pillows were great too. Wish it had a microwave but it did have a refrigerator. Air conditioning was not as efficient. It could have been quite a bit cooler in the room. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the location! Perfect for the tube and shopping. There were many choices for restaurants! The breakfast was a welcome treat! Rooms were clean.

The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood. Close to a number of significant historic attractions, and underground through which you can easily reach the Piccadilly Street and many other important places to see in London.

Great location, good service n good food. Room TV needs more channels like CNN, CNBC etc.
