Our check in was very late at 1 am but the front desk gentleman is very helpful, in providing where to park and is welcoming to my daughter and me. "The area is picturesque with nice views of the mountains. There are two supermarkets and a petrol station close by. The interchange for the highway is 2 minutes away. There are a number of restaurants fairly close. The yakiniku restaurant gets booked up pretty quick so be sure to make a reservation. The former Sanada residence and military school are worth taking a look at too. They are just a couple of minutes away. The hotel itself is fresh and clean, with free sparkling wine, beer and snacks...

"Great location, just a short walk from Nagano Station and easy to find. It's on the same road that leads to Zenkoji Temple. For a two-night stay this met my expectations. Staff both at check-in counter and cafe were very friendly. "
