Very nice hotel, beautiful restaurant and great location. Our room was just a little dated but we couldn't fault it for cleanliness and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I wouldn't absolutely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Amsterdam

Perfectly central hotel to everything. Room was tiny with only a tiny courtyard view of other rooms and lots of cigarette butts. Asked to move as the break was a holiday surprise for my partner and the hotel staff were obliging, moving us the next day to an executive room which was perfect, with a wonderful view of the canal and station. The concierge, Igor, was super helpful and gave us a brilliant restaurant suggestion where we had the best steak of our lives (Toro Dorado)! Didn't get to use the pool etc as we were too busy exploring the city. The only tip I can give is buy milk as soon as you get there, they use creamer and the tea is not nice using this! Will definitely be staying again.

Great location meant this hotel turned out to be perfect. Only 30 min walk from the Rail Station; at the end of the main shopping street; streets of restaurants just around the corner; a short walk to some of Den Haag's major historical sites, museums and galleries.
The hotel itself is plain, clean, functional, and good value for money. The staff were informative and helpful throughout.

Was a very nice looking hotel especially from the outside, however the interior especially the corridor to the rooms was quite dark and looked a bit outdated, even taking into consideration it's style. Bed super comfy and bathroom was nice, however the shower sprayed weirdly everywhere. Excellent location with everything in walking distance, and the Embassy Festival was on when I stayed which was right on the doorstep of the hotel which was very handy

"Comfy room with plenty of space, comfiest bed ever"
Once I found you had to go upstairs rather than downstairs to check in it was smooth sailing (no pun intended). Downstairs is a reception desk with a sign in Dutch that could have said anything, back in 5 minutes but I realise now it probably said take the stairs outside. A couple of staff saw me standing there with my bags and just walked past though which wasn't ideal.
There isn't much locally for snacks or drinks, they could do with some translated documents in the room for overseas guests so it was clear what was available, if there was a restaurant or bar etc
Wifi in the room was pretty quick, excellent signal. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together, if I had my girlfriend there it would have been an issue but on my own I don't move round much. The mattress topper was incredible, I've never been so comfy
Shower was nice etc, all in all I was very pleased and hardly got sea sick at all

I had never been Rotterdam, but my stay in this hotel was very good.
If I had to complain about anything, it was the fact that the Spa was co-ed. Maybe because European it was the norm. But for a self conscious American it was a bit uncomfortable. My massage was good, but not great.
Though in my constant search for the best message, it is subjective as to what is good or not ;-)
