The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very close to the airport. The shuttle service is reliable. It helps you to connect all the time to schiphol so you can take transportation to the city. The breakfast was good. The hotel is a bit old, however the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are renovated, the tv is modern.

We mostly booked a room here because of the free airport shuttle, which we used several times. We also appreciated being able to drop off our luggage before it was time to check in, which allowed us to do some sightseeing. The room was very nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. One slightly strange thing about this hotel was that you needed to use your room card to use the elevator.

Hotel was convenient and we took advantage of free shuttle to travel to city centre Amsterdam. Although they indicate you need to request cleaning service daily, it would have been nice anon checking in if we could have requested service every second day, or daily clean towels and ensure toilet paper supply is good. Room was spacious and bathroom was great setup.

Was only there for one night before flying out, hotel was fine, MacDonalds right next to it for easy fast food. Would have given a higher rating but was not happy with the free airport pickup since we had to wait almost an hour. It could be that we missed when it came the first time as it was not orange as described and the sign was not very clear that it was for the Bastian Hotel

STAFF The Aussie guy in the bar, was top notch and so fun to be at the bar with…including other customers, we found him so sociable, Just how a bar person should be. ROOM Booked deluxe. Def lacked deluxe with the decor! Also… nothing to put my suitcase on, that was irritating to deal with. I’m not comfortable collecting things from the case on the floor. Poor lighting. BREAKFAST Just ok. Bacon sausage scrambled eggs, could be cooked better. Other guests were noisy checking out… I woke several times, from people talking in the corridor.

Perfect hotel close to the airport, for a few hours stop overnight for my next flight. Also great with the free shuttle bus. But a bit disappointing with a closed restaurant relatively early night. Everything else was fine, quick queck in, a relatively big room with aircondition, all you need for a few hours

Lobby was attractive, rooms are not. Worn and grubby, poor mattresses. Light fixtures broken, towels and linens worn threadbare. Construction all around the entrance to property. The best thing…our shuttle driver. He was great!

Excellent airport hotel with a free airport shuttle. We used the shuttle to get to the airport and then travel onwards to downtown Amsterdam. Service was excellent. Great value.

Friendly, helpful staff and very convenient with free shuttle buses to and from the airport. Not many food options nearby, apart from the hotel restaurant and McDonalds, but fine for overnight stay. Personally the bed was too soft and not too comfortable, but OK for one night - the air-conditioning was great on a very warm evening,
