Right in the heart of it all so no complaints there. If traveling with family and kids not the best, gets noisy since it’s party town. Bar and staff were excellent, tons of dinning options and things to do. Great location if you are single or a group with no kids.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. It’s a very clean hotel, staff were lovely & the price is very reasonable. I had a single room which was very small but comfortable - en suite was also very small but perfectly serviceable. The breakfast was of adequate quality & there was plenty of food available but the breakfast didn’t open till 8am which I felt was a little late if you are joining a tour/day trip.

Nice old-style Hotel with its unique charming setting. It was a perfect location with plenty of options nearby to find something to eat, shop, and centrally located for sightseeing. I can see that the summertime would begin to heat up and the rooms might be a bit warm without any AC. I was there during June 22 - 25 and these were the first warm days in 2026. My room was facing the water canal (back of hotel), and the sun heated the room in the late afternoon. During this time of year, it would be best to have a room facing the street (front of hotel) if possible. The cleanliness was good, friendly staff, and standard buffet style breakfast.

What a charming, well kept little gem! We loved this property. Literally a five minute walk from central station, walking distance to everything and beautiful canal views! I would absolutely stay here again. For the price it was a tremendous value!
