We stayed with our 2 children for just one night in a family room. The room was really spacious and the beds very comfortable. We’d certainly stay here again if we were in the area. Breakfast was included in the room price and was delicious. All in all a lovely but short stay.

Once again this was an excellent place to come and relax. The spa is incredible, the food superb and the service is top notch. Drinks at the pool are pricey but one of life’s necessities. Stay for two nights and leave 5pm on the second day. Book spa appointments well in advance.

Second visit and happy to report that it is a very nice and well run hotel. The rooms are clean and well appointed, staff friendly and helpful. Car parking plentiful and free and can park close to room. Breakfast excellent. Highly recommended.

Staying for Ascot - We arrived at this hotel on Monday lunch time and it was 32 degrees! Staff were waiting outside to give every one ice cold water and take our bags inside. Check in was smooth, we had room 126, with air conditioning and was very classy, the whole hotel had the WOW factor. The grounds were large and even though the hotel was full, no one was where anyone else want to be, it was very spacious was nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Booked this as a 4-day retreat for the family as wanted a self-catered location to cater for my 3yr old and 5m baby. On arriving there was a customised hamper snacks for us and the kids plus all the essentials (milk, bread, butter etc) which included fresh eggs from the farm. We had a twin room, but it was on the first floor, it would have been nice if there was one on the ground floor, apart from that the staff were just lovely and very helpful. the dining room was very spacious and food was tasty. In the breakfast room the staff were again very helpful and chatty, the kitchen was very open to changing the menu for different tastes. We loved it and will return.

A very pleasant stay at the Runnymede Hotel, staff were very helpful and polite and professional. The grounds in which the hotel is situated is immaculate and well keep. Such an enjoyable relaxing environment, me and my partner stayed for one night as it was my birthday and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Stay here for 3 nights, spotless clean and very good size room, breakfast good quality and might be a bit expensive for some. I'd definitely stay again

We recently returned and stayed in a comfy double room last weekend. Very well maintained hotel, room and facilities. The room was spotless. Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating and restaurant and bar services. We were satisfied with the gym. We didn’t use the sauna and steam rooms this time. Not the quietest of venues during event nights.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a large shower room, and a very comfortable bed. We had dinner there and the food was lovely. The breakfast was included and also good - the chef came to take our orders for cooked food, and was very accommodating.

Great hotel lovely food and great location for Thorpe park only 5 minutes away .

Fantastic new hotel with great facilities but no tea/ coffee or even a glass in the room so not great if you are thirsty!

The rooms are spacious well designed - great beds and pillows and excellent bathrooms and nice touches - excellent Only slight draw back is late entry access with a dark doorway / keypad hard to see without a torch and as unmanned from 11pm being in central Reading feels slightly insecure especially 12midnighf plus
