"These are rooms above a pub rather than a hotel, the check in was vague, I didn't see a 'front desk' and the lady showing us the room wasn't very welcoming or informative. The room was a little tired with chipped furniture and peeling wallpaper, and it was very small. However it was well equipped with everything you need for a one night stop. The shower room was nicely fitted and nice toiletries were provided but again it was very small. Breakfast was good, and its a

"Yes it was cheap and i was aware of the shared bathroom facilities. The room was a reasonable size and it was clean enough, though dated. I can accept the confusion about whether or not breakfast was included as I had made other arrangements. But an absolute minimum for any overnight stay is being able to sleep; to have a bed so lumpy you cannot sleep more than a couple of hours defeats the purpose of hiring a room. "An absolutely wonderful hotel for a couple mini break. Stunning contemporary interiors and dreamy comfortable bed. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. The bacon was particularly worth trying - clearly care about the quality of food they are serving. Staff were professional and polite and we would never have guessed they were only open for a week.
