We especially enjoyed our evening meal in the Knights restaurant where the food was excellent & the staff friendly & efficient. We would have liked a seating area with a roaring fire to sit & relax without being in the crowded bar area & it was quite difficult eating at the low tables in the library bar on our first evening All in all we highly recommend a stay in this beautiful & quirky castle."
