Rowton Hotel is an interesting place, its sort of lost in time a bit and I like that. It is a huge hotel from the Victorian era, not sure why such a huge hotel was built where it is, maybe there was once a railway station here? Its got a lot of character, feels like a lot of history has been through ...
The hotel was very close to the ICC where the conference was being held.
Staff were very friendly, easy check in & the rooms were clean
Lovely hotel very comfortable beds air conditioning need to be turned down and maybe would like a window to open for fresh air but other than that lovely stay and will definitely recommend
Lovely hotel but was let down by breakfast - expected more from the hotel. Staff were not paying any attention, food cold, machines out of order - 15mins after breakfast started. Not a great choice. Premier Inn breakfast is far superior.
This is our preferred hotel when staying in Birmingham. Decent sized rooms, comfy large beds and a decent bathroom. Lighting is on the dark side in the rooms but that’s the look which works well.
All very efficient and very obliging friendly staff. It delivers what it says on the tin.
The hotel was very convenient to the canal side area and to the night life of Broad Street.
Very friendly helpful staff, nice and clean and a comfortable bed, what more do you need.
