"Quiet Birmingham alternative option"
5 mins walk from the start of Birmingham shopping centre (Corporation Rd, Colmore Row), obviously further for Bullring / Broad St - no bad thing), quiet area as on a campus, nice room, powerful shower - hot water with good pressure; room well equipped if a little snug with no outside traffic. Downsides were kettle doesn't click off automatically - think before switching on and then going for a shower; and, more frustratingly, the car park daily rate finishes at 08.00 or so but checkout isn't until 11.00 - good way to get you to have to pay for 2 days when you leave at 11.00 the following morning (£8 a day). Reception reasonably efficient, room very clean. Would use again

"Great location and facilities! Overall fantastic "
We had to reschedule our booking the first time due to a family issue and the manager was more than understanding! The reception were lovely, nothing was too much and the staff generally were very good. Good security on the doors for after nights out. Very comfortable room, maybe I would say more mirrors in the room as with 4 girls sharing one mirror it was very difficult

"Good value stay"
Good value hotel with ample parking. Breakfast far too expensive at £8-95 as the size was to small and not great quality. Also struggled to make some staff members understand my requirements due to their poor knowledge of English language

"Beautiful hotel with attentive lovely staff."
Gorgeous wow factor foyer makes you reach for the phone and take photos before you get to reception. This is one of Birmingham's hidden architectural jewels. The room was enormous and tastefully decorated to respect the heritage of the building. Beautiful soul calming stay.... Wish it could have been longer. Ps. The bar and bistro are magnificent too.

"It was just convenient"
For a hotel close to the two train stations and a short walk to the Birmingham Coach Station, this would be the hotel of choice. Other than that, we probably would have chosen a less expensive hotel. There's really nothing to it. We also chose it for it's online price (the price at the hotel is a wee bit high) and because we stayed in Nottingham's Britannia and thought it might be just as nice. Disappointed when we found it wasn't. As for clean, yes but there was a silver fish in the bathtub. Hotel Facilities, though they advertise wifi, not in the rooms.

"Great value, inc breakfast & gym"
The hotel is located on a fairly unimpressive main road, but the hotel itself is good. Modern, clean rooms. I had an accessible room, so was particularly large. Not sure what the standard rooms would be like. Has all usual modern conveniences, e.g free wifi. I chose the hotel because it had a gym and it wasn't bad. About 10 pieces of cardio and weights equipment. Also liked the inclusive breakfast, which had the usual offerings. Nothing spectacular on the food front, but did the job fine and was easy self-service. For the price I paid, about £65, it was great value for money. Would stay again.
