The location is excellent! Close to Birmingham New Street Station and within a walk of most major sites. Only one lift was working and that was very slow. The bedroom walls are thin and I could hear my next-door neighbour quite clearly. The mattress was not that comfortable.

There was a horrible smell throughout the Hotel. The room was filthy and it looked like the bed sheets had not been changed. We checked out about 10mins after checking in! We could not stay in such a dirty place. This was the worst condition of a Hotel that I have ever seen. The staff however were very pleasant.

The room was clean so no complaints there but the staff looked like they could have been anywhere else, one of the lifts didn’t work and the other was really slow, there were lots of homeless/drugged people hanging around in and outside the foyer, the place looks like it was abandoned in the 80s….but all that said, it’s so cheap and convenient for city night out and train station that as long as it’s just a bed for night, it is worth it!
