"This property is a small one bedroom house. It had everything that I could have needed for my stay. There was a living room, kitchen with dining table and chairs. Upstairs was a bathroom with electric shower and a bedroom with two single beds pushed together to make a large double. Outside was a small slabbed area leading to the parking at the rear. "It’s always tricky looking for family rooms for older children, it was fantastic to have a separate room for the two kids. The rooms are stylish and spotlessly clean.10 minute stroll into Chester centre along the canal. The hotel has a lovely friendly vibe with a great lobby/bar area with games and another upstairs with a pool table and a few arcade games. The staff were super friendly and inviting. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!!!"

"Room was great, very clean, a little quirky regarding headspace, but loved the fan effect on the towels and toilet paper! Only downside was the vibration from lorries passing. Staff were freindly and the pub busy."

"A beautiful hotel very central location near the Cathedral our room was in the cottage which was beautifully decorated. Breakfast is extra £15 pp we declined as there are so many nice little cafes and coffee shops near by. The bed mattress was too hard which I know is a personal choice. Would definitely return. "

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar. "I stayed a couple of nights on business and the hotel was the perfect location. The room and bed were both large and comfortable and the pool and sauna facilities were great after a day's work. Although located not far from the main road, the hotel is quiet and secluded enabling a peaceful night's sleep as well as the possibility of working online in the room."
