Property was in a great location, would book it qgain. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed 2as lovely and comfortable. We stayed in room 29, which was a superior room. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂

Great food at restaurant. Lounge area /pub comfortable to relax at anytime of day. Loved the Beer Garden. Very friendly staff , very relaxed vibe. You can feel the history throughout the building. Stairs are old so not great for anyone too young or too old. Not sure if there was air conditioning but we didn’t need it in September. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely place and full of quirks - some are charming and make you giggle (stairs and plumbing arrangements), others not so (noise from the bar in a first floor room and ). Glad we stayed and the food was good.

Pied bull weekend

I love tradition so staying in a place of history was part of my choice to stay there. Basic but clean and did the job for our stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great location too.

A great stay in a great atmospheric inn. Really central for all the sites. A wee bit noisey in the early morning from deliveries to local businesses but not unexpected for somewhere so central in a pedestrian zone.
