"Very nice stay , 3rd floor walk-up. Got city view , with a patio on the floor that you can view the sea about a mile(ish?). Self check in was seamless, instructions very clear, Very modern clean, comfortable, with all promised amenities in working order. Not your party part of town , more residential, upper middle class neighborhood? Would highly recommend as a stop on your last day or two of a trip, wind down in comfort or would work for long term as a good home base."

"I loved Chichis and Charlie’s because of the locations being only steps away from the blues of the ocean. There were free lounging areas, and although simple, the free breakfast was enjoyable because of the views. Our room had amazing views being on the third floor, and I will book the same room when we return. For the price, we didn’t expect anything special, and we did get the minimum of things: nice large bed, 2 sets of clean fresh towels, some soap and shampoo, and AC that allowed us to...

"Don't do the teepee on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday unless you're staying out until at least 3am. Otherwise, this place is great"

"This location is perfect for anyone that likes beach front without the all inclusive. Right beside the best snorkeling on north beach and directly across from GURU beach club. Minutes away from great food and drinks. Taco stands pop up close by at the end of the day as well! Rooms clean. Great AC. My only complaint is water pressure is VERY inconsistent. Will be coming back though!"

"Don't hesitate - book Pachamaya if you can. I was lucky to stay here before they were fully open, and the owners have an amazing vision for this spot. You can tell how much they care, and their staff care just as much. It's peaceful, relaxing, and well-appointed, with thoughtful extra touches. Lots of great common space, and I had a hard time leaving the pool / hot tub area. Convenient location in the historic original neighbourhood. If I'm ever back to Cancun, I'll be back to Pachamaya."

"Unfortunately we could not find the place! We circled the block multiple times, got out an walked from building to building. I found a call box on the building at the address provided but it either didn’t work or no one was there to answer it. No signs at all on the building or anywhere near it. We ended up giving up hope and finding a last minute hotel. "
