"Everything was top notch apart being charged an extra £30 for 2 nights so that I could have bedding on the sofa bed. Room says it's good for 4 people because it has a double bed and a sofa bed, so booked it for 2 people so we could use as a twin room. That was where reception asked for the extra pounds as they said I didn't state I wanted it as a twin room... although there was nowhere to state I wanted to use it as a twin room when I went through the booking stage"

"This is a hidden gem. It is a very nice hotel just on the outskirt of the city but only a few minutes walk from the town hall. There is a very nice bar with outdoor seating at both the side of the building on on the street with a church view. The rooms are nicely decorated with a modern bathroom and a mini bar with a very pleasant surprise! There was plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel although this is charged via an App at £21.50 per 24 hours."

I liked the friendly staff I liked the room, although small and a bit dated it was very clean and quiet I liked the air conditioning I didn’t like the bar food, it wasn’t very warm and such strange menu choices. "Lovely hotel, breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Parking was easy. Online checkin/out was ideal. The beds were very comfortable. The room was warm (matched the weather) but a welcome fan kept the air moving. Tried to call to say we were going to be later than planned- couldn’t get a response (not good). Corridor area was very congested as there were bible/book stalls, I don’t mind the stalls but just put them where it doesn’t restrict flow of guests"
