The bar was bustling and busy but this was understandable during our Twixmas break. We did feel that there were not enough places to sit during the evening since the bar was small and there is no residents lounge. "Great location in the town with wonderful views from the restaurant over the Malvern hills. Large free car park, rare in hotels these days. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at dinner was very good. The bed room was fine with a king size bed which had a very firm mattress, not completely comfortable for me. Overall, an enjoyable stay. "

"Had a lovely meal in the pub and the staff were super helpful and kind. Our booking seemed to have come through very late so the room and especially the bathroom were quite cold when we arrived. But the room had warmed up after we’d had dinner. Did a great and varied walk up along the tops then down into Great Malvern and back along bridleways so it was really well located for that.

"A great one night stay at this very friendly and well run pub. The location is brilliant for walking on The Malverns. You can park your car and walk straight up on to the hills. We had fabulous weather and could really enjoy the stunning view from the little patio garden and from our bedroom. We had a wholesome evening meal, and the real ales were enjoyed by the beer drinkers in the group. We also had fun listening to the jukebox and picking out some old favourites. "Hospitality is the word I can use to describe our stay. The owners made us feel very welcome, always asked if we needed anything. The house and the garden are absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t reflect the beauty and uniqueness of its place. Our room was quite spacious, bathroom was also nice size. Bed were comfortable, much of storage for your belongings. The building was very old so expect a low ceiling, small windows, uneven floors and old style door handles - but I found it all...
