Located right in the heart of the town making everything walkable, whilst providing off street parking. Check-in was very inventively and efficiently managed, and the room was excellent, spacious and very well appointed. I would wgole heartedly recommend it!

good location, very rude owner
Location of the hotel is good, walking distance to Bowness and Windermere. Room was ok, bathroom updated. However the owner lady is very rude. Upon arrival; telling us about breakfast; also taking orders at breakfast. We didn`t feel welcome at all. There are lots and lots of other B&Bs in the Lake District, so chose another place if you can.

Lovely family-run B&B
Everything about this beautiful little B&B was perfect for us. We were booked in for two nights, midweek, into the top-floor superior room (the comfiest kingsize bed, en-suite and a pretty nice view). We had booked through Expedia, and the owners (Martin and Marina) emailed us to let us know that we could check in early, giving us details of the parking arrangements. They only have 8 or 9 spaces available, but there's plenty of space down the streets, adjacent to the hotel. When we arrived (around 11:30am), we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from Marina and shown to our room. The B&B is only a couple of minutes walk down to all of the shops, cafes, restaurants and, of course, the Beatrix Potter museum, and only an extra couple of minutes walk down to the lake itself. We didn't move the car once! Breakfast was beautiful! My girlfriend and I had the vegetarian English breakfast and a full English breakfast respectively both mornings, but there are plenty of other options for cooked breakfasts and a buffet for yogurts, fruits, juices and cereals. Martin was such a lovely host and didn't fail to make us (and each of the other guests) laugh. Marina cooked a delicious breakfast, perfect for what we wanted. It is adults only, but they do have free WiFi, TVs and leaflets and information on all of the nearby attractions. Definitely recommending to family and friends!

Convenient and pleasant
We stayed for two nights. Room and guesthouse was pleasant. Easy access to all areas for adventure. Easy to find and ample parking. Only down area was room slightly small and bed hard. Slight achy back following day. But overall a pleasant stay and would highly recommend. Price Worthing range of all bed and breakfast in the area
