The location is a top the hill sides over looking the valley around the little town of Vicchio. You take a long windy road to get there, but the views and quiet are worth it. The rooms are extremely modern and well kept. Maximillian, the proprietor, personally made our breakfast each morning; which included a variety of local cheeses, meats, his own olives, preserverves, bread, and wonderful espresso offerings. Max is a wine expert and award winning "Fein Schmecker" award winner. Wonderful restaurants nearby (Casa Prosciutto a must!). Suggest using the local train to go to cities like Florence or Bologna.
