This was by far the best equipped/furnished apartment we have stayed in. Absolutely everything was there that one could possibly ask for. Luisa and Jose are extremely nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us in front of the apartment and Jose was so kind to carry our bags up to the 2nd floor (back down and the end). Since we were on an extended trip we had 2 large suitcases. The apartment was all we hoped for and the wine, chocolate and nuts they had waiting for us were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location right in the old town, a short walk to everything. If you just want to stay in town a car is not needed since groceries and butcher shops are practically next door. It's perfectly located in the city centre, but in an area with not too much noise and with parking available nearby. You can't miss the bakery down the flat, amazing pastries and great breakfast options. Check-in and check-out was seamless and the house was impeccably clean. The flat has a nice, central location in Viana do Castelo. It's a great place for a couple or a couple with a child to stay. The flat is immaculate and it's quiet at night. The living room and each bedroom have individual heating/cooling equipment and we used the heating equipment in February for the rooms we occupied. We used the kitchen to make our own breakfast and dinner, and it was easy since the flat has a full complement of quality cooking pans, plates, and utensils. The appliances are all Bosch and Siemens - really nice equipment. There is no parking really in the town center, so you'd be saving yourself a lot of hassle by using Jose and Luisa's parking space across the street. The additional price was very reasonable, and the parking space was really large. Viana is a great base from which to explore the Minho area of Portugal. Finally, Jose and Luisa met us at the flat to let us in, give us the keys, and give us an orientation of the flat and how things worked. This was really helpful and we appreciated the time they spent with us (including walking us through the parking). Finally, they left us fruit and some wonderful Pasteles de Nata desserts as a welcome gift. We really appreciated this. We recommend this flat - it's a great choice. Cuenta con todas las comodidades y detalles necesarios haciendo la estancia muy agradable. Destacando el orden y pulcritud en todas sus estancias. La casa superó todas nuestras expectativas. Es cómoda, limpia, amplia, muy bien ubicada, cuanta hasta con el último detalle. Luisa y José son muy atentos, en la llegada, durante toda la estancia y en la marcha atendieron cada una de nuestras necesidades. Muy recomendable. ##### David M.
