Emily's Apartment is located in the historic center of the city of Viana do Castelo, next to a spectacular garden by the river, with a marina, close to beaches.
Historical monuments can be visited, including the Sanctuary of Stª Luzia, with views over the city.
It is a land of many festivals and pilgrimages where folk dance and sing to the sound of concertinas.
Its cuisine is excellent and prices are very affordable.

Lovely property, great location

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is very central, so everywhere within the central city was within walking distance. Good internet, free cable TV (including CNN and many other English-language news channels. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Viana experience

The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable,very well equipped and a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates was a nice touch.The apartment is very well situated for exploring the city and there is plenty to see there and the surrounding area.Luisa and Jose were lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful,we thank them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Ever since I found out about this flat, I use it for my visits to Viana do Castelo. It's perfectly located in the city centre, but in an area with not too much noise and with parking available nearby. You can't miss the bakery down the flat, amazing pastries and great breakfast options. Check-in and check-out was seamless and the house was impeccably clean. It's a simple, great flat that I would recommend to anyone visiting Viana.

An amazing stay in an amazing location

The property owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful, clean, wonderfully equipped AND in a great location. Little Gem

Emily’s Apartment, was perfect for our seven day stay in Viana do Castelo. Luisa and José met us upon our arrival and directed to our parking space. They also aquatinted us to the apartment. The bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most anything you want to see or do is a short walk once you step outside the door. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in Viana do Castelo.

Excellent Stay in Viana do Castelo, PT

We stayed 2 weeks in Luisa and Jose's apartment. This was by far the best equipped/furnished apartment we have stayed in. Absolutely everything was there that one could possibly ask for. Luisa and Jose are extremely nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us in front of the apartment and Jose was so kind to carry our bags up to the 2nd floor (back down and the end). Since we were on an extended trip we had 2 large suitcases. The apartment was all we hoped for and the wine, chocolate and nuts they had waiting for us were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location right in the old town, a short walk to everything. If you just want to stay in town a car is not needed since groceries and butcher shops are practically next door. We did many day trips from there and very much enjoyed that area of northern Portugal.

Excellent location. Quiet, light flat with good shutters for blackout. Plenty of hot water and spacious shower. Absolutely everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. All was clean and thoughtfully prepared.

Petit nid douillet et très bien équipé

Bon emplacement pour profiter de la vieille ville, vraiment très agréable et au passé historique très riche.Bien situé pour profiter des plages magnifiques ou l’on peut faire de longues marches.Viana est un bon emplacement pour s’initier le nord du Portugal.Nous remercions Emily et son mari pour toutes leurs attentions et nous excusons pour les clés.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans l'appartement de José et Luisa. Il a tout le confort comme si on était à la maison, internet, machine à café, à laver, micro-ondes, four...
