Pros: Owners give a quick tour upon arrival so you are familiar with the amenities. Nice rooftop deck with good views of the water.
Location: Walking distance to shopping and excellent restaurants.
Walking distance to restaurants and shops. By the water. Owners also run the Pineapple Jack's restaurant, which is excellent!!!

Pros: It was more like an inn than a bed and breakfast. There was no feeling of being in a stranger's house, which is why we usually avoid staying at B&B's.
Cons: The continental breakfast would be perfect if they instead offered bakery-quality scones and croissants, as well as high-end granola and yogurt.
Location: Small town neighborhood, decent selection of restaurants, shops, with beaches nearby and the Lyric Theater in Stuart less than five miles away.
A complete surprise as this bed and breakfast was more like an inn. A wide stairway at the entrance welcomed you and the treads and risers made a comfortable climb. At the top of the stairs all seven room were to the left and the office, kitchen, dining area, and living room meandered to the right. With only seven guest rooms we avoided seeing or having to greet anyone else staying there. Our guest room, The Grouper, was quiet and bordered the stairway. Occasionally we heard a guest or two enter the secured front door below us, but it was not disruptive at all to our sleep. By our count there were four trains that passed through the night, but whistles and sounds of the railcars moving along the tracks is always music to our ears. We have lived near train tracks all our lives and do appreciate them. The ceilings are high in the rooms and the warmth of wood is everywhere present throughout the inn. Knotty pine and ceiling fans made our room feel like home. Our kingsize bed provided one of the best sleeps we have had in some time. The coffee was excellent and available anytime of day or night. The innkeepers, a husband and wife team, were both extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and professional. Because of the small-town feel and its laid-back attitude we will definitely be coming back to Jensen Beach and staying at this inn.

Very Nice

Posted 19-Feb-2016
WE were greeted by the owner when we arrived. She checked us in and showed us to our room. She gave us a short history of the hotel. The room was very pleasant and clean, and not what you would encounter in the large chain hotels. We will definitely stay here when in the area !!

Super cute pleasant stay

Posted 08-Jan-2016 on Hotels
Super cute place! It has a modern upscale beachy feel. Very clean, nice decor, the rooms were beautiful (loved the furniture). Rooms fairly spacious. Bed very comfy. Big tv. Friendly staff. Nice little dining room area. Shops and restaurants downstairs nearby. They give you a discount for their restaurant they own downstairs. I just wish they had more variety for breakfast, like maybe some hot items, eggs or a waffle maker you could do yourself would be really great. It was just bagels, cold cereal, a pastry from Publix, yogurt and bananas and apples along with coffee from a Kerig you can make. Oh also they did not have a hair dryer! And I did not bring mine bc most hotels have them now. But really pleasant stay.

Great Boutique Hotel

The hotel was quiet, clean and convenient. The owners were there to greet us and very nice and friendly. I would recommend it highly and will stay there again. (The train issue... There is a railroad track near the hotel but the train didn't bother us at all)

Gut gepflegtes kleines Hotel

Posted 06-Jan-2016 on Hotels

Charming and clean.

The hostess is lovely. The hotel is small and very charming and very clean. There are great views from the rooftop deck. There is a very comfortable common area where a continental breakfast is served. The only negative is that it's right next to a railroad crossing and the first night I woke up several times when the train whistled.

TRAIN TRAIN!!!! No sleep here.

Nice little historic place. Roof viewing area was a nice touch. But three trains came by middle of the night sounding horns. Not their fault but just forget about getting a nights sleep here.

Favorite place in the area!

Awesome place! Good value and a great restaurant downstairs. Don't pay attention to the complaints about the train. It was barely noticeable and the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

The Jensen Beach Inn (darling)

Posted 10-Sep-2015 on Hotels
The Jensen Beach Inn is charming, as is the surrounding neighborhood. The rooms had a luxurious look and feel. The innkeepers (Scott and Liz) were present, but not overbearing. Everything was clean, as you would expect, and thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated all of the natural wood. Bed was comfortable, and there was ample space to put away our things while we stayed. Morning breakfast choices included hot and cold cereals with regular and almond milk, several different kinds of bagels with butter and cream cheese, multiple flavors of yogurt, pastry, fresh fruit, juices, coffees and tea. There is access to the roof where there is seating for a unique spot to view the town and relax. The innkeepers also own/run the bistro downstairs. The food at Pineapple Jacks Bistro is exceptional. They are open for lunch and dinner. This late lunch was the best meal we had all weekend without exception. I would return to this lovely inn again and again.
