'FLORIDA' - TRANQUIL BEACH HOUSE RETREAT

Ventnor is the place to go if you want some peace and quiet. Bordering on acreage farmland, 'Florida' is your little piece of serenity. The house is on a 740m2 fully fenced block with beautiful native gum trees that provide both shade and privacy. The outside deck is perfectly located off the living area and has a BBQ, table and chairs. Inside is an open plan living area that includes kitchen, dining and lounge with a rustic wood fireplace. We are pet friendly and all bed linen and towels are provided.

Relaxing charm

As always, a great stay, walking distance to the dog beach, bountiful bird life and essentials stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. Beautifully maintained garden, very relaxing and peaceful.

Lovely and quiet trip to Ventnor

The house is beautiful and me and my friends loved staying here. Bedrooms are comfortable, we enjoyed the DVD selection, and we loved dining outside on the deck. A lovely spot on Phillip Island, a bit quieter than Cowes. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Hideaway

We had a lovely time at Florida, house was very clean and everything that we needed was supplied. Our poochie loved the backyard and lying by the fire after we walked along the beach. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Lovely stay..

I found Florida the perfect stay for myself and dog. Clean, comfortable, all provisions neccessary were generously provided. Great back yard and only a short stroll to the leash free dog beach. We found the area quiet and peaceful, would highly recommend it, very reasonably priced also.

‘Florida’ was a very clean and tidy home and yard for the whole family (including the fur baby) to enjoy. It was well equipped with amenities and wood for the fire. Such a lovely quiet spot only a short drive from Cowes Main Street and the other island attractions. Thank you for having us.

Comfortable house in great location

I really loved my stay at this property. It is a really cute comfortable cottage - not new but very clean and has everything you need. The property is lovely - on a corner block with lots of trees, and fully fenced. My dog loved it! And it is less than 10 minutes walk to the dog beach.

Ventnor 'Florida' Cottage

Only two of us in the end instead of four, which would have slept four comfortably, but can sleep more. Perfect for our needs. Hosts make it easy. Incredibly quiet area. Slept better there than at home.

A lovely getaway

The house was great for our needs. Super comfortable bed, amazing hot shower, a fabulous fireplace and a huge enclosed yard for my pup to explore. The dog beach is amazing ... we walked all the way to Cowes and back. Absolutely no complaints.
