One of a Kind Bulldogs is a Premier breeder of Old English Bulldogges & French Bulldogs w/rescue on site. Your stay helps support our rescue mission. Escape the chaotic city life & enjoy rural living in beautiful Valley Center California where you are still a drive to all the great things San Diego has to offer. 25 min from SD Safari Park, 45 min from beaches, 50 min from downtown, Sea World & World famous SD Zoo. We require ID verification right after booking. Failure to provide ID will mean you surrender your booking fees and we won't be able to accommodate your stay. This is a tiny home on wheels. 240 ft² but a fantastic layout with a bedroom on one end with a full size bed and closet. It has a door for privacy which leads into the kitchen and then the living room that has a futon couch that folds out into a full size bed. On the opposite end is a bathroom with Good size standing shower. We have a large TV in living room and smaller smart TV in bedroom both wall mounted for optimal space. Unit has a mini split ac and heating system that does a great job and is very quiet. Water pressure in kitchen sink is low, but bathroom and shower is good. water heater is only a 6 gallon water heater so showers cannot be very long. A 15 min wait between showers is recommended. Everything in tiny home is electric except for stove and oven which is run off propane. We have a backup propane tank to make sure we do not run out. If it runs out just message us and we will do the swap real quick. Tiny home has a robot vacuum if you want the place vacuumed while you are out enjoying all San Diego has to offer. The full size deck gives a glimpse of the valley view and during some winters snow on the mountain tops. The night skies in Valley Center are amazingly clear and a beautiful site nearly every night. Something to be aware of, this is a dog kennel and next door is a dog kennel. There will be occasional barking. The dogs do pretty well sleeping through the night but there is a lot of excitement on the property at around 7am when they are let out for play time and around 3pm when they are getting fed. If you are the type who likes to sleep in, this might not be the place for you. If you are easily irritated by noise this might not be the place for you. The tiny home is about 30 or 40 yd away from the kennel area. I have had long term tenants and Customers stay at the tiny home and none of them have ever had an issue with noise. We provide a Bluetooth speaker for those who like to sleep to music or white noise Also, if you don't do well in tiny spaces this may not be for you. This tiny home is 8 feet wide by 30 feet long, so it is by definition a tiny home. We have made it fairly spacious by keeping it simple and minimalistic, but know some people don't do well in small places and want people to be very aware if size. Tiny home is fully private for the guest and has its own yard. We do not allow guests to tour the property outside of the private yard without staff chaperone for liability reasons. We do contactless check in. We prefer to stay invisible for you and let you enjoy your stay. When you arrive please message so we know it's you and not some squatters. 🤣 We are always a phone call or message away. We prefer contact via VRBO app but have phone number listed in tiny home for emergencies. if interested in tour of facility or interacting with dogs or pups please let us know in advance and we will coordinate. we usually accommodate puppy playtime between noon and 2pm IF we have puppies. If not, we will bring some of our friendly French Bulldogs out for you to meet and play with. The tiny home is 2 sliding doors, but none lock with keys, they both lock from inside. No need to worry as we are in a very safe area. We are a stone throw away from the sheriff's department and the entire property has surveillance (no cameras in tiny home or facing its windows and/or doors.) Also, we are conveniently located near Horizen fuel center which is the cheapest gas in So Cal. Usually gas prices are .40 to .60 cents cheaper on avg, so fill up there as often as possible. For EV vehicles, we can accommodate occasional charging as we have a Tesla wall charger on property. We charge a cleaning fee for basic cleaning and decontamination which includes trash removal and laundry service. I ended up here due to convenience and price. I specifically chose the tiny house because of the puppies (and the decor). He mentions in the description potential barking, etc. As tired as we were and having to get up early, early in the mornings, we did not find this to be a problem at all. I told Ary that my biggest complaint was that he did not adequately prepare us for having enough money for the casinos that are so close by. The place was immaculate and when I had an issue with the toilet, the owner promptly took care of it. He communicated well and even provided a small blender I requested. I appreciated the tip it includes on where to find relatively cheap gas. I enjoyed my 3 night stay at the tiny home, and it served as a good home base for my sightseeing and biking. The Wifi was out one night; I reported it to the owner before I went to bed and when I got up the next morning he had already replied with a fix. You definitely need to like dogs to stay here. Besides the bulldogs on the property, there are several other dogs in the neighborhood and at times during the day they seem to enjoy getting each other riled up a bit. There wasn't much barking at night, though. And I like dogs :) ##### Matt S. There wasn’t a detail overlooked, and the owners thought of everything! My family of four stayed in this tiny home for our trip over to San Diego Safari Park. Yes, it’s a tiny home, but the layout was great and we had every single thing we needed. And it’s so well maintained! The location is great. It’s far enough out of the city (about 25 mins east of Escondido) but close enough to get to the market, visit some local restaurants and there’s even a casino right across the way! The highlight of my kids’ trip was playing with a couple of baby French Bulldogs. My sons are 14 and 9 years old. We would frequently see the dogs playing from afar, but being able to roll around with them was such a great joy for my kiddos. This was my first experience a tiny home and California! I'm from Texas and I came visited my person for the weekend! The location was peaceful and perfect for the two of us! It was also close to a few trails with pretty views if you enjoy hiking! Loved the house set up and how simple it was!
