Welcome to Your Swedish Home on the Uvån! This charming country house is in a very peaceful location right on the edge of the forest, offering stunning views over the flowing waters of the Uvån in Stjärnsfors, Uddeholm. While you'll feel completely immersed in nature, you're still just a 10-minute drive from the center of Hagfors, where you'll find a good selection of supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The house is spacious and offers comfort with a recently modernized bathroom, four freshly decorated bedrooms, and a cozy living/dining room. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances, including a Nespresso machine, bread maker, pizza oven, and gourmet set. Start your day relaxing with a coffee on the veranda or at the kitchen table, enjoying the unobstructed views of the rippling water. With a bit of luck, you might even spot beavers! In summer, pick fresh raspberries right in front of the house, and in winter, the kids can enjoy sledding in the spacious garden. In the evenings, take a stroll across the old railway bridge to the other side of the water, where a charming open fire pit awaits. Bed linen and kitchen towels are included in the rental. Electricity is included up to 100 kWh per week. Additional consumption is charged separately. Nature & Activities: Year-Round Enjoyment From your own garden, you can step directly into the forest, where you can enjoy short or long walks on quiet paths. Cross-country skiers will find various trails in the area, and several ski slopes are within a comfortable distance for a day of skiing. A Dive into History Stjärnsfors is a place with a rich history. This is where the story of Uddeholmsbolaget began in 1668, when a dam was built in the Uvån to harness water power. Uddeholmsbolaget grew into an industrial giant, and for 200 years, Stjärnsfors was the center of its operations. Although industrial activities have now ceased, you'll still find many old remnants in the landscape. Wir wurden von unseren Gastgebern wirklich freundlich empfangen. Deutsch, englisch, schwedisch alles kein Problem. Wir waren mit 4 Generationen dort. Uns wurde zusätzlich ein Kinderbett und ein Hochstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt. Für unsere jüngsten gab es Schränke voller Spielsachen und für uns Wasserfreunde wurde noch ein zweites Kajak besorgt. Das Haus liegt wundervoll ruhig mitten in der Wildnis. Bis zum Wasser mußten wir nur ca 100 Meter die Hofeinfahrt herunter gehen. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man irgendwann oder irgendwie gebrauchen kann, vom Toster über die Kaffeemaschine bis zum Pizzaoffen ist alles vorhanden. Die Landschafft eignet sich hervorragend zu langen Wanderungen. Am meisten hat unsern 7 jährlichen die "Tischlerhütte" imponiert in der er mit seiner Urgroßmutter am liebsten gebastelt hat. Unser jungster Enkel (15 Monate) hat in unserer Zeit dort das laufen gelernt. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub der leider viel zu schnell zu Ende gegangen ist. Die Vermieter hatten uns schon erwartet und uns das Haus gezeigt. Es gab frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern zur Begrüßung. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Ganz ruhig und abgeschieden. Von dort können kleine Wanderungen direkt gestartet werden. Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen. Sehr gemütlich. Und die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Alles da, um zu Kochen oder Backen. Das Haus war ok, sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf einen großen Fluss mit eigenem Steg. Die Ausstattung war auch gut, alles da. Nur 1 Bad ist etwas wenig, aber ich denke, da es sich noch nicht so lange in deren Besitz befindet, wird sich da noch etwas tun. Ansonsten kann man das Objekt weiterempfehlen. ##### Matthias V.
