I was obliged to find another hotel owing to lack of communication from the owner/agent about arrangements for gaining access to the property. An e-Mail and,later,a text did not reach me until I had decided that it was not safe for me to wait around. It was deemed by the phone contact that,in some way,it was my fault for not having received the information. I have never had this sort of experience with my previous expedia bookings. I understand that I can have no expectation of any sort of recompense. I shall have to be more cautious in future. Richard Symes.
