Der Weg zum Strand ist nicht weit, vor allem für uns als Hundebesitzer zum Hundestrand. Von unserem Balkon hatten wir einen tollen Blick zum See und die Zimmer waren praktisch und urig eingerichtet. ##### Simone D. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber der Pool auch der wurde jeden Tag kontrolliert und sauber gemacht man hatte genug liegen und es war total ruhig. Die Auffahrt war erstmal etwas schwierig aber nach dem zweiten Mal schafft man es man braucht etwas Übung ich geb den Tipp fahrt im 1\. Der ausschlaggebende Punkt jedoch ist die extrem enge, steile und mit ungünstigen Winkeln versehene Auffahrt zum Parkplatz. Das Kupplung und Träger keine Schäden hatten, gleicht einem Wunder. Der Gardasee ist super, aber diese Unterkunft ist bei uns krachend durchgefallen. Selbstverständlichkeiten wie Sauberkeit oder Freundlichkeit, fallen da nicht ins Gewicht. ##### Andreas P. Jeder Raum hat seinen eigenen Charme. Es ist Hunde- und Kinderfreundlich. Man findet alles was man braucht, wir würden das nächste mal noch einen Toaster mitbringen. Bäcker ist um die Ecke, Supermarkt zur Zeit ein Fußmarsch von 20 Minuten entfernt. Vom Pool aus und dem dritten Stock hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt bis auf den Gardasee. Wichtig zu wissen ist es, dass man kein allzu großes Auto fahren sollte, um die Parkplätze nutzen zu können. Unsere Wohnung war für 6 Personen (2 Erw.+4 Kinder) ausreichend groß mit einer schönen Terrasse direkt zur Außenanlage. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber für einen Urlaub okay. Die Küche hätte nach unserem Geschmack ein bisschen ausreichender ausgestattet sein dürfen. Geschirr und Kochzubehör war recht übersichtlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt; dennoch gibt es zwei Dinge, die man wissen sollte. Erstens ist die Anfahrt zum Parkplatz tatsächlich schwieriger als beschrieben. Die Gassen sind enorm eng, kurvig und steiler als erwartet. Wir sind zu 6\. mit einem Seat Alhambra angereist und genau einmal mit großen Mühen für Mensch und Auto auf den sehr engen Parkplatz gefahren; noch einmal runter und den Rest der Zeit mit viel Suche nach Parkplätzen im Ort über die Runden gekommen. Wir würden allein deshalb nicht wieder in die Villa fahren, da das Aus- und Beladen sehr viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen hat. Mit kleineren Fahrzeugen wahrscheinlich besser machbar. Der zweite Punkt ist, dass sich kaum jemand an die Ruhezeiten zur Nutzung der Pools hält und ebenso wenig an die Ruhezeiten in den Abendstunden. Das mag nicht stören, wenn man mit großen Kindern oder kinderlos unterwegs ist. Wenn man, wie wir, aber mit einem zweijährigen Kind reist, kann das durchaus störend für den Schlaf des Kindes sein, da die Anlage sowohl innen als auch außen sehr geräuschfördernd ist. ##### Katja S. Allerdings ist die Lage im hintersten Eck von Toscolano nicht unbedingt der Place-to-be, da hier wenig geboten ist. Wenn man viel Ruhe sucht ist man allerdings richtig. Zudem auch etwas komisches Publikum, am Pool waren Leute mit Hund, die nur auf Aufforderung den Dreck von den Hunden auf der Wiese weggemacht haben. Absolut eklig. Dafür gab es eine wunderschöne, große Terrasse. Ausstattung ist einfach aber ausreichend, die Betten bequem. Manche Möbelstücke bzw. Küchenschränke sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles nicht wirklich störend. Die Pools sind sauber, genauso wie die gesamte Anlage und Wohnung. Wir waren allerdings früher schon mal dort und wussten, was uns erwartet. Die Wohnungen sind wirklich sehr sehr unterschiedlich und man kann mehr oder weniger Glück haben. Wir hatten z. B. kein Fenster im Bad. Es gab einen Entfeuchter, der Tag und Nacht laufen musste. Und fast KEINE Ablage!! Die Unterkunft liegt schön in Hanglage. Vom Balkon unserer Wohnung hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick auf den Gardasee in Richtung Osten, der kleinere Schönheitsfehler wieder wett machen konnte. Andere Wohnungen bzw. Sitzgelegenheiten bieten diesen Trumpfjedoch nicht und hätten uns nicht gefallen, da es keine Aussicht und viel Schatten gegeben hätte. – Für sehr heiße Tage eventuell vorteilhaft. Die Einrichtung war einfach und praktisch, stilistisch hätte es gerne ansprechender sein können. Auch waren einige Möbelstücke nicht mehr einwandfrei. Leselampen hätten an allen Betten zur Verfügung stehen sollen. Insgesamt aber waren wir zufrieden. Die Außenanlage und der Pool waren sehr gepflegt und überzeugend. Auch das Ensemble der Gebäude versprüht viel Charme, ist gepflegt und authentisch . Die Anfahrt und Auffahrt durch enge Gässchen war eine Herausforderung für Fahrer und Fahrzeug, denn es geht sehr eng und überraschend steil zu. Toscolano kam uns nur mäßig touristisch vor, keine Schickimicki–Gegend und deshalb sehr angenehm. Völlig ausreichende Geschäfte, Restaurants und Eisdielen in Laufweite. Das alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Personal sehr korrekt, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reisetipps: Toscolano Maderno bietet einige nette Ausflugsmöglichkeiten:Das Tal der Papiermühlen, die Seepromenade, der Hafen in Maderno, die beiden Kirchen der Ortschaften, die Möglichkeit mit der Fähre nach Torri del Benacco überzusetzen, Tagesausflug Tremoisine, Limone, Gargnano,... Für uns war es wichtig, eine Woche das Auto möglichst wenig zu bewegen. – Kleiner Minuspunkt: Ständige Geräusche durch Abluft der Papierfabrik in Toscolano.
