I booked a Superior Quadruple Room, with Lake View. The room they put us in was on the 4th floor and the elevator was not working. There was no lake view, unless you hang half your body out the window. There were also no bath towels, just a few hand towels that could be used to sand wood. There were huge windows on the room, and the curtains were very thin, the room was hot in the morning because of the sun. Also, it was extremely noisy.
When I complained to the front desk, the receptionist told me she was going to check and get back to me in a couple of minutes. She never got back to us. When I checked out, there were different people at the front desk, so I complained one more time. The man who looked like the manager or owner, asked me how many people I had in the room and how much I had paid for it. I answered that we had 2 adults and 2 children, and what we had paid for a Superior Quadruple Room, with Lake View, but didn't get that. His answer was "You have to agree with me that it was really cheap for 4 people" (like I was lucky to even get the horrible room I got). I told him that if he thought that it was too cheap, they should raise the price of the room instead of selling what they didn't have. Also, when I complained about the towels, he told me that they were a studio not a hotel and we should have brought our own towels. There was no mention of this on the description of the hotel/room.
I left the place upset, without any compensation for the trouble.
