"Nice hotel within walking distance of the train station and town centre. Large room..which would benefit from a set of drawers though! Shower pressure wasn't great but overall we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was nice but no pastries etc...if you didn't want a cooked one there wasn't much else. Good value...quiet location....we were glad not to be in the city centre on a Saturday night! Pool was lovely after a day of shopping."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely and really well presented with lots of space. We loved the views from the hotel room too. The bathroom was lovely too. The breakfast was good and we felt like there were a lot of options and food was a good quality. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and we could leave our bags both days which was nice for exploring the city. We loved the location down on the docks. We didn’t realise it was next to the arena so it was very busy around the area on the Saturday we didn’t mind but some people might not like to be so close."

"Stayed for 2 nights ,check-in was quick and reception staff were very helpful. Looked like the hotel was just after been refurbished as it was looking brand new everywhere . Had food in the bar area ,good service from the girls behind the bar . Breakfast was standard and OK. Hotel situated midway between Liverpool and Manchester."

"Stayed 3 times now. Great hotel. Food OK, and rooms are excellent. Location was handy for me, but required an Uber to get to city center. I’ve already booked my 4th stay."

"Good value hotel which has parking included. Room was a bit old fashioned but that would not deter us from staying again. Buffet breakfast was quite good however no options for other items such as poached or scrambled eggs. Decaff tea bags in short supply. The location was right by Lime St Station and it was easy to access most areas of Liverpool by foot from the hotel."

"The hotel is comfortable,food was very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and serviced each day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking and hotel is close to Liverpool attractions so no need to use the car after we arrived The only criticism is the shower and toilet is very small and no wardrobe to hang clothes, but apart from that very good and we will go there again."

"Room was lovely. As before, staff mixed. Algrid and other day staff excellent, but night staff didn't bother to greet me. Very quiet. Clean and comfortable. Great location."

"Unfortunately my experience in room 414 last night was not good, there was an annoing continuous sound all night up above the room( not the air conditioning unit ss this was off) also the bed was unsteady. Each time my husband or i moved it disturbed the other person. This resulted in myself not having a good nights rest . Shame as all previous visits to the Grosvenor have been amazing ."
