Not an awful experience, but not a great one either. I was charged £140 extra upon arrival despite what I had paid on Expedia already, which I thought was very misleading and there's nothing you can do about it, like, are you going to go elsewhere when this is one of the few hotels taking in guests? It doesn't matter what room selection you make on Expedia, you will be put on one floor in a basic room. Also, you can fully hear what's going on in the next room to you. Staff are friendly, but when I asked if I could extend my stay by one night I was simply told there was no room. Hard to believe in an empty hotel but but I suppose why would they lie?
