Fabulous staff. So eager to help and all-around thoughtful. Location is perfect. 8 minute walk to Albert Dock; Bold street and numerous restaurants just around the corner. 4 minute walk to Liverpool One. Kitchenette in room was useful. Great value for money.

As we arrived at midnight in winter we were worried about finding the apartment without heating but when we got in, literally the apartment gave us a warm welcome ...

Very nice comfortable apartment. It tended to be a bit noisy because of street noise but it was in a good location - up a side street off the main road next to a small pub. Super clean. Very lovely spacious rooms for the price. Warm and homely.

Book a stay at an adventure sports hotel in Liverpool or nearby Southport and Formby and look forward to great hospitality and comfortable accommodation.

Amenities at Adventure Sports Hotels

If you are staying at the Southport Holiday Park, you will have access to an extensive range of leisure facilities, from tennis and arcades to an indoor pool and billiards. All adventure sports hotels in and near Liverpool have comfortable family-friendly rooms which will often include home comforts such as tea and coffee-making amenities and en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries for your convenience.

Most hotels also provide WiFi access in all rooms so you can quickly get online and keep in touch with relatives and friends while you are away. Some include fully equipped fitness centres with cardiovascular machines and free weights so you can always keep up to date with your workout regime. If you prefer to cook while you are away, choose an apartment with a kitchenette and dining space and prepare your favourite meals just like you would back home.

Other Things to See and Do in Liverpool and Merseyside

Football fans can book tickets to see a match at the enormous 45,500-seat Anfield stadium, the headquarters of one of the nation's most successful football clubs, Liverpool F.C, since 1892. Once you've checked in at your adventure sports hotel, consider hiring a bike from one of Liverpool's cycle stations and see the city's historic landmarks at a leisurely pace.

Further Afield

The Merseyside coast near Formby and Southport is frequently used for surfing when sea temperatures are warmer between July and September. Many families from Liverpool and Manchester take day trips to relax on the vast sandy beach, which is perfect for a game of volleyball or Frisbee. This coast is particularly popular with golf courses and has even inherited the nickname 'England's Golf Coast' in recognition of its excellent golf courses.

For some great scenery, hike along a section of the Sefton Coastal Footpath, which begins at Crosby, just seven miles to the north of Liverpool city centre, and continues for 21 miles before finishing at Southport. Crosby is also home to the Lakeside Adventure Centre, which offers excellent water sports adventures for adults and children.
