A great theamed hotel of the beatles ,very central recommend to all
Fabulous staff. So eager to help and all-around thoughtful. Location is perfect. 8 minute walk to Albert Dock; Bold street and numerous restaurants just around the corner. 4 minute walk to Liverpool One. Kitchenette in room was useful. Great value for money.
The staff are the most wonderful, helpful and caring people I have met. I have travelled and stayed in places world wide, and without doubt this has been the best experience I have had. The staff make the hotel.
we are a family of 5 (two adults and three children of 12, 10 and 3 years old). We used a two-bedroom apartment and stayed for three nights. As we arrived at midnight in winter we were worried about finding the apartment without heating but when we got in, literally the apartment gave us a warm welcome ...
Very nice comfortable apartment. It tended to be a bit noisy because of street noise but it was in a good location - up a side street off the main road next to a small pub. Super clean. Very lovely spacious rooms for the price. Warm and homely.
I was on my own so just booked a single room. It was small but clean and comfortable with hairdryer, a well stocked hospitality tray and everything I wanted. I only have a light breakfast but I saw others ordering afull english and saying how good it was. I cannot find any fault with Bowden Lodge ...
Nice and clean very friendly staff especially jimmy the owner. Lovely breakfast
Nice hotel close to Liverpool centre and airport. Beds were super comfy and breakfast was very nice. Would stay here again.

Many families from Liverpool and Manchester take day trips to relax on the vast sandy beach, which is perfect for a game of volleyball or Frisbee. This coast is particularly popular with golf courses and has even inherited the nickname 'England's Golf Coast' in recognition of its excellent golf courses.
For some great scenery, hike along a section of the Sefton Coastal Footpath, which begins at Crosby, just seven miles to the north of Liverpool city centre, and continues for 21 miles before finishing at Southport.
