All ages can have a great time at these family-friendly properties
Very comfortable room and bed. Shower could have been better. spa was ok but stairs up and down not easy. Food brilliant especially the eton mess dessert. Staff mostly friendly - one or two miserable at breakfast time. Altogether a very pleasant stay.
Wonderful friendly staff at the front desk. Great night stay in
Clean and comfortable. Ifeally situated to lical amenities and good restaurant at reasonable prices.
Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom very good value for money,
I was on my own so just booked a single room. It was small but clean and comfortable with hairdryer, a well stocked hospitality tray and everything I wanted. I only have a light breakfast but I saw others ordering afull english and saying how good it was. I cannot find any fault with Bowden Lodge ...
Lovely clean modern rooms and good breakfast choices
Great hotel, great view of Albert Dock. Really friendly staff and great location for Liverpool City
Location was fantastic, right next door to subway connection, stone's throw from riverfront and easy walking distance around the city. Historic hotel setting, qirky and interesting place to stay
Friendly staff, clean hotel. The wedding party in the evening was noisy and the music resonated in our room but overall we can’t complain.
Packed with exciting things to see and do, Liverpool is a diverse holiday destination with something for everyone. Since its designation as a European City of Culture back in 2008, this vibrant city has really blossomed. Today, it's a hive of activity with plenty of attractions suitable for younger kids. With so many visitors passing through the city annually, it's hardly surprising that it's blessed with so many fabulous hotels, many of which are family-friendly.
There may be lots to keep the kids happy in the city of Liverpool, but it can't hurt to pick some accommodation with a few frills for the grown-ups too! Some of the best family-friendly hotels in the area are actually outside the city itself. Southport Holiday Park, for example, has plenty for the young ones to do.
The holiday park boasts plenty of fun games and shows for kids, and there are even some superb facilities for mum and dad. In the summer months, there are plenty of excellent beaches nearby, great for soaking up the sun.
Liverpool may be a large city, but the bulk of the family-friendly attractions are all located in a similar area. This makes it easy for parents to pick hotels nearby. The Novotel in Liverpool city centre is well placed for families keen to check out all the most popular attractions in the city. The Beatles Story at Albert Dock is nearby, as are all the best places for shopping.
Football fans should head to the east of the city. Both Goodison Park and Anfield are located in the region of Everton, which is also blessed with some great family-friendly hotels.
Travelling with kids can be a lot of fun but it can also be tiring. Thankfully, a number of the family-friendly hotels in Liverpool offer babysitting and childcare services to give mum and dad some well-deserved time off.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel, near John Lennon airport, offers childcare services. What you do with your time alone is up to you, but the hotel has plenty of facilities to inspire you, beginning with a good-sized indoor pool.
