Disaster avoided by swift action of the Landlord
We were there following a family lunch party locally. The landlord, John, is very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was spotless and reasonably warm. The bathroom was immaculate but cold so we avoided having a shower. The Continental breakfast was good and generous and we enjoyed a large cafetiere of good strong coffee. I owe a vote of thanks to John: as we were about to drive away, he rushed out carrying my handbag, which I had left on the breakfast table! And his directions for finding a route to the motorway through the maze of Kentish lanes were spot on.
