This Taupo holiday unit enjoys well appointed, open plan living that flows to an ideal outdoor set up. The great outdoor facilities are perfect for laid back holiday dining. The well equipped kitchen includes everything you require for a hassle free stay.

Each of the 3 bedrooms at this Taupo accommodation is situated off a hallway from the kitchen. Bedrooms 1 is fitted with a queen bed plus a roll-away bed, bedroom 2 is fitted with a queen bed and bedroom 3 is fitted with 2 single beds. There is also a garden shed where you can be used to store bikes and accessories.

Taupo Haven makes a great holiday base for key events such as the Lake Taupo Cycle challenge, or you can enjoy the many other attractions close by. You are just a stones throw to Taupo's Hot Water Beach plus the Lake Taupo walk and bikeway, and a 2 minute walk will take you to renowned lakeside dining!

There is plenty to see and do all within easy access from this Taupo accommodation, or simply sit back and relax.

Good location

Comfortable and close to the lake. Loved being able to take the dog. The only drawback was the dirty BBQ and couldn't find anything to clean it with so we just used the stove. Apart from that it was very good.

Taupo break

The location was pretty good. A bit of road noise as above intersection . Good little place but beds not overly comfortable. Needs new mattresses. Otherwise a great little spot.

Pleasant stay near to Taupo central

Located just outside Taupo central and across from lake edge, this updated unit has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, toilet and shower. There is a small deck and outdoor seating with BBQ. Limited view of the lake.Challenging to find driveway from the road. Phoned property manager who was very helpful! On arrival the unit was not ready as cleaning was in progress. During our stay, area was nice and quiet even with neighbours nearby.

We had a fabulous time

We had a fabulous time. Nice and close to the lake where we were able to walk with our grandson and small dog. Everything we needed the home was warm and had plenty of space for the four of us. Next time we would love to stay longer. Wonderful memories.

This batch looked good online but we were disappointed.

This batch looked good online but we were disappointed. The duvets and pillows are cheap, thin polyester. The queen bed in the middle room is quite possibly the squeakiest, loudest bed ever. The power points are at the weirdest, most inconvenient places. Not one in the bathroom at all! To do my hair, I needed to use the power point on the far side of the master room where I couldn't really see in the mirror. Same with the iron - down in the master bedroom. The vacuum cleaner is tiny and tinny.

The only negative is that he bed in the middle bedroom is very hard and needs a topper mattress put on it. It would also be good to have a better vacuum cleaner so it is easy to leave it spotless.
