About 6-8min walk to Zhongshan station (red line to Taipei 101/Elephant Mtn) and also SKM dept store/Din Tai Fung (level B2F). 10min walk to Shandao temple station (blue line). 5min to 7-11, bakery, Linshen Park. 20min walk to Ningxia night market. Fridge in room, fresh fruit store next to hotel. Many small restaurants hotpot, ramen, etc within 2-3 blocks. Hotel gift: longan honey cake. The room is quite small if you have a lot of luggage, stayed in a twin. However it is made up by the excellent customer service, friendly warm welcome on every entry and exit. Also the 24 hours snacks really did add extra touch. I did notice that breakfast on the weekends tend to have more choice and quite a bit less on the weekday. But regardless I enjoyed the breakfast, mix of Taiwanese and western food. I'd stay again, the location was good if you are ok with using public transport. Local area had a lot of Japanese restaurants and quite a few supermarkets/ malls. So for me was enough for my short stay. It is noted, but just to confirm there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. The location is excellent — a 5-8 minute walk to the Zhongshan MRT stop (red and green lines) but lots of buses even closer. There are lots of great food options and bars in the area, and there's a popular and well-stocked fruit vendor around the corner, which is a welcome addition to breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, the hotel provides a wide variety of Taiwanese foods, which we really enjoyed. We stayed in Panco for two weeks and noticed that the breakfast changed almost every day. And in the evening, the hotel puts out water bottles and a variety of complimentary snacks. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and always available to help. They allowed us to stow our luggage there the morning we arrived and helped us call a cab when we were leaving. The only downside, which we knew going in, was that the hotel room was very small. We could only open one suitcase at a time, and when the suitcase was open, we wouldn't be able to open the front door or bathroom door.
