During my stay, I encountered multiple issues. There were bugs coming out of the ceiling, and it was evident that the ceiling had structural damage, as evidenced by parts of it falling apart, which I captured in pictures. To add to my concerns, I discovered that the large mirror in the bathroom seemed to be a two-way mirror, revealing electrical wires when inspected with a flashlight. While I cannot confirm if it was a camera, this raised significant privacy concerns. Moreover, the overall condition of the hotel was subpar, with the entire floor reeking of cigarette smoke. Given the numerous problems and discomfort, I decided to check out after just five days out of the 16 I had initially paid for. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund any portion of my payment for the unused nights. Despite the financial loss, my well-being and peace of mind were more important, and I opted to leave. In light of the privacy concerns regarding the bathroom mirror, I believe it would be prudent for the local police department to investigate the possibility of hidden cameras in the hotel. And then the Main station was just about a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. That was very useful. On the other hand there was a bike station very close by too. I'd go back here when I come back to Taipei. 5 stars from me. The only isue I had was with Expedia...
