This is one of the five mountains. I was quite lucky when I visited that day. I made my trip around April to May the weather there was not too cold it was around winter turning to spring. It's around that time that is perfect to visit this spot. It's too hot in summer, and freezing in winter. I literally went there during spring but by the time I reached the top, there was still snow falling. The locals said I was lucky that day, there had been a few days where it stopped snowing. I do recommend bring your own water and snacks, the food stalls on the ways up costs more than normal. It takes about six hours to climb, but they also offer bus rides up half the way, and cable cars to take you up and down the mountain. But where's the fun in that? The reason I sray at Holday Inn and other western branded hotels is I want a bath. The summer, I have travelled all over Chins, staying at other Holiday Inn Express. If they are going to be the same and charge the same, they should have same facilities. The people were excellent! Our stay was great. The front desk, house keeping all were great. Another side note, This is a huge tourist place. Leider sprach niemand wirklich gut Englisch, was aber eigentlich auch kein Problem war (Zudem gibt es ja mittlerweile recht gute Translator-Apps) - Beim Frühstück war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei (Asiatisch und Westlich). - Das Bett waren sehr groß und bequem. - Das Zimmer war sehr groß (mehr als ausreichend für 2 Leute mit Gepäck). - Sauberkeit sehr gut (Bis auf ein paar kleine "Schönheitsfehler", wie z.B. ein Fleck auf dem Boden der einem normalerweise auffallen müsste.) - Nachts so gut wie kein Lärm von der Straße. - Wir haben uns in der Umgebung zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit sicher gefühlt. Fazit: Insgesamt waren wir sehr gut zufrieden (Preis-Leistung).
