St Peter's wing is a beautiful spacious area that encompasses an L shaped bedroom overlooking the forests, an ensuite bathroom, a very large community room with TV, DVD, Chromecast and Wifi throughout, as well as a small, fully equipped kitchen, including pod-coffee maker. St Peter's community room has amazing views of the surrounding valley and sunrises. We fondly call the bedroom the Light room as it is bathed in light and a perfect, peaceful space for retreat or stopover. The bedroom has two large leather chairs that back onto the forest and give beautiful views of the trees. It is quiet. Now, it is a 1970s build so the outside needs a wee bit of TLC, and the shower is a walk in tin can - but with nice hot water. All our water is pure filtered rain at the pump site too. St Peter's wing is at the rear of the main monastery building. It is the back entrance to the property, and has 17 wooden stairs up to the wing. There is a laundry downstairs that folk may use. That is shared with the monastic community. We do ask guests to respect monastery community by maintaining a level of quiet, appropriate dress and respectful behaviour.
