Great place horrible cleaning skills

Posted 21-Sep-2017
I stay at here for a night , my first thought from walking in is wow this carpet is dirty.. I sallied into a open loving room like area and through an other door was the two beds and another bathroom. This room have two bathtubs and two toilets which was really great!! They had a good amount of tv channels and had a pool outside but it was raining . But when it came to the sheets and the carpet and the tile floor it was just soooooo dirty! The sheets looked yellowish instead of white. The carpets were stained and the tile was dirty ...

Close to the event but didn't feel safe

Posted 11-Sep-2017
We stayed there because it was close to the event we attended for the weekend. The price was way to high for this place. The bathroom was ok, looked newer. But the shower curtain was dirty. The carpet had stains all over it. The furniture was very old and scratched up. They said the pool and hot tub were closed but didn't say why. The continental breakfast was very minimal and my spouse was not allowed to bring anything to me back at the room. Not even a banana. It was basically a place where all the crack heads stay. I will never stay there again.

Not what i expected.

Pros: The staff was pleasant
Cons: cleanliness of facilities
Location: of concern, the area wasn't the best. We were warned not to go out in the evening because of how unsafe it is.
Pool, hot tub were dirty. Room smelled like weed, it was more like a long term stay than a one-two night stay hotel. Local mentioned the area wasn't safe.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: BEDS, THE WHOLE ROOM
Location: LOTS OF THINGS ALL AROUND, BUT THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL
I would never recommend you stay or book here, hotel was not like photos presented in website, I stayed for a total of 20 min to check out, and manager was not there to give refund for the days booked, front desk person informed me i would have to wait till Monday when manager return and then came Monday to find out they would not refund my 4 days booked or expedia either, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, ROOMS ARE AWFUL

Watch out for the $50 deposit 'thing'!

Posted 28-Aug-2017
I stayed for one night rest while on a road trip. To start with, the location seemed very unsafe, particularly on A weekend night. Front desk was okay but very impersonal. Bill shows an extra convoluted $50 charge on top of the already high room rate. I never had that in any other hotel chain on the east coast, from Miami to NYC.

Staff was ok but carpet was filthy and room needed a lot of work. Bath water came out brown at first.

Had a great time - complimentary breakfast was great. The pool and outside facilities could use some work. Overall, the rooms were clean and kept up.

would rather sleep in my car

Pulled up to hotel which seemed to be in a really ghetto area, and looked NOTHING like the photos on the website. Didn't think too much of it so we went inside and tried to check in. The lady at the front desk took my ID and started laughing. She then looked up my reservation and told me that it had been CANCELLED!!!!!!! Mind you I had been getting email updates letting me know my room was ready for check in. I never recived any type of communication stating that my reservation had been cancelled. I proceeded to tell that to the lady staff at the desk and she told me her manager had cancelled the reservation (from what I could understand, her English was not the best). I then asked if they had any rooms available and she said that they did, but they wouldn't honor it at the price I had originally booked it for on Expedia. I got angry and tried to reason with her but she basically said there wasn't anything they could do so I got my things and walked out the door. I called Expedia and they told me that my reservation had NOT been cancelled so I have no idea what the hotel did. Pretty much every hotel was booked in Tacoma so we almost didn't have a place to rest our heads for the night thanks to this dump. Thankfully we found a place but my advice is to NEVER EVER STAY HERE. Avoid it at all costs.

Not worth the price. It was very run down and in rough shape. Mold on the ceiling in the shower, dirty outside. The inside, however, was at least clean.

Save your money!!

Upon entering I saw that things were outdated but the bed was clean and tidy and so was the towels. I'm not hard to please so it wasn't a big deal to me. I know the hotel can not control the environment but there was a lot of druggies. We had lots of kids knock on the door and run. There were random women that stopped by the room, we never answered the door being it was always at 2 am or after. Now what the hotel could control was the fact that the was absolutely no cold air coming from the ac unit. It was also outdated. We called the front office and was told someone would be by and no one ever showed. So for 5 days we cooked in that room. Furthermore, the electricity went out for about 15 mins. My husband went to the front office and was told that it was the whole block, he called the hire next door and sure enough they had electricity. Room service did a great job at cleaning daily but for what we paid we expected better.
